Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Lord, are the only God.”

God be merciful unto us, and bless us, And cause his face to shine upon us;[ SelahThat thy way may be known upon earth, Thy salvation among all nations.

hear thou in heaven thy dwelling- place, and do according to all that the foreigner calleth to thee for; that all the peoples of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as doth thy people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.

Let them be put to shame and dismayed for ever; Yea, let them be confounded and perish;That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, Art the Most High over all the earth.

Oh, Lord, what shall I say, after that Israel hath turned their backs before their enemies!For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and will compass us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do for thy great name?

For now I had put forth my hand, and smitten thee and thy people with pestilence, and thou hadst been cut off from the earth:but in very deed for this cause have I made thee to stand, to show thee my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
