Like a shepherd’s tent my house has been pulled down and taken from me. Like a weaver I have rolled up my life, and he has cut me off from the loom; day and night you made an end of me.

彼將更易、則爾卷而藏之、惟爾不變、爾壽無疆、

終日罹災害、清晨逢譴責兮。

我知此身、猶土室帷幕、雖壞、然有上帝經營、非手所作之室、悠久於天、

牧伯坐於高位、加以譭謗、僕則思爾禮儀兮、

願上帝糜爛我體、立舉其手、喪亡我命、若斷機杼。

若花之向榮、而遭翦伐、若影之倏忽、而無定在。

我生斯世、猶在帷幕之中、使爾憶道、吾以為宜、吾自知棄帷幕不遠、以吾主耶穌基督示我、

吾尚處此幕、勞而嘆息、非欲去之、乃欲得其室、致死了而生存、

余之生命、如影沉西、如草凋零兮、

予率爾以吐詞、見絕於爾前、乃籲於上、爾則俯聞。

自茲以後、代無居人、亞喇伯人不張其幕、牧者不使羊憩息、

獨是明日之事、爾且弗能知、爾命伊何、猶雲霧聚散倏忽、出沒頃刻、

乃我既遭患害於累月、復遇顛連於竟夜。我寢則曰、興何時、而夜偏長、輾轉反側、迄於昧爽。我肉生蛆、蒙以塵埃、膚雖痊、膿復出。日月如梭、終身無希望矣。命在呼吸、不復獲福、爾其垂念。

余趨生命之途、其力已衰、厥命將絕、上帝使然也、禱曰、我之上帝、爾壽無疆、余年正壯、毋使予短折兮、

郇僅孤城、所存無幾、猶葡萄園之廬、瓜田之舍、被圍之邑而已。

彼朝生夕死、人不及覺、已歸烏有。

我神已昏、我命垂盡。將入墓矣。

其年短折、其體玷辱、咸爾所使兮。耶和華兮、爾遐棄我、震怒奮烈、伊於何底兮、人壽幾何、請爾垂念、爾造世人、同歸於盡、寧非徒勞兮、

日月逝矣、速於郵傳、流光已邁、我未見福之至也。日去如扁舟、勢若巨鷹之摶擊。
