Isaiah had said,“ Prepare a poultice of figs and apply it to the boil, and he will recover.”

When Hezekiah was sick, Isaiah had said,“ Press some figs together. Spread them on a piece of cloth. Apply them to Hezekiah’s boil. Then he’ll get well again.”

Now Isaiah had said,“ Let them take a cake of figs and apply it to the boil, that he may recover.”

Isaiah had said to Hezekiah’s servants,“ Make an ointment from figs and spread it over the boil, and Hezekiah will recover.”

Now Isaiah had said,“ Let them take a lump of pressed figs and apply it to his infected skin, so that he may recover.”

Having said this, he spat on the ground and made some mud with the saliva. He smeared the mud on the blind man’s eyes

Isaiah ordered,“ Get a fig cake.” So they did as he ordered and placed it on the ulcerated sore, and he recovered.Hezekiah had said to Isaiah,“ What is the confirming sign that the LORD will heal me and that I will go up to the LORD’s temple the day after tomorrow?”

After Jesus took him aside privately, away from the crowd, he put his fingers in the man’s ears, and after spitting, he touched his tongue.
