於是郇山之室、民會之處、榮光焜耀、耶和華必加護衛、晝蔽以雲、夜燭以火、

蓋主震怒、嚴行審鞫、加以除滅、洗滌郇女之污、除淨耶路撒冷民殺人流血之罪、

The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.

The Lord will wash away the sin of the women in Zion. He will clean up the blood that was spilled there. He will judge those who spilled that blood. His burning anger will blaze out at them.

不過他來的日子，誰能承受得起呢？他顯現的時候，誰能站立得住呢？因為他像煉金之人的火，又像漂布之人的鹼。他必安坐像熬煉、潔淨銀子之人，潔淨利未的子孫，精煉他們像精煉金銀那樣；他們就必藉著公義向耶和華獻供物。

「耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷！這城殺害先知們，又用石頭砸死被差到她這裡的人！我多次想聚集你的兒女，像母雞把自己的小雞聚集在翅膀下，可是你們不願意！

他來了，要在關於罪、關於義、關於審判的事上，使世界知罪。關於罪，是因為世界不信我；關於義，是因為我到父那裡去，而你們不再看到我了；關於審判，是因為世界的那掌權者已經被定罪了。

我必使這三分之一進入火中，熬煉他們如熬煉銀子，察驗他們如察驗金子。他們將呼求我的名，我必應允他們。我必說：『他們是我的子民。』他們也必說：『耶和華是我們的神。』」

對在位的審判者，必成為公正的靈；對城門口擊退猛攻的人，必成為他們的力量。

耶和華又說：「因為錫安女子自高、行走挺項、賣弄媚眼、俏步徐行、腳下叮噹，所以主必使錫安女子頭頂生瘡，耶和華必使她們的下體赤露。」到那日，主必除掉她們精美的腳鐲、髮網、月牙項圈、耳環、手鐲、面紗、頭飾、足鏈、華帶、香盒、護身符、戒指、鼻環、禮服、斗篷、披肩、手袋、鏡子、細麻衣、頭巾、圍巾。那時，腐臭必代替馨香，繩索代替腰帶，光禿代替美髮，束身麻衣代替華服，烙痕代替美貌。你們的男人必倒在刀下，你們的勇士必倒在戰場。錫安的城門必哀哭、悲慟；錫安必空空如也，坐在地上。

我的民哪，去吧！進入你的內室，關上身後的門，短暫地躲藏一會兒，等到耶和華的憤怒過去！看哪！耶和華就要從自己的地方出來，懲罰地上居民的罪孽；地必顯露其中的血，不再遮蓋被殺的人。

每一個在戰亂中所穿的軍靴和滾在血中的戰袍，都必燒毀，成為燒火的燃料。

有權勢的必成為麻絮，他的作為必成為火花；二者共燃，無人撲滅。

萬軍之耶和華宣告：「到那日，必有一個泉源為大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民而開，為要除淨罪惡和汙穢。

萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪！那日子將要來到，燃燒如火爐；所有傲慢的和作惡的都必成為麥稭，那要來的日子必把他們燒盡，不留下一根一枝。

那時約書亞身穿骯髒的衣服，站在天使面前。天使應聲吩咐那些侍立在自己面前的，說：「從他身上脫去骯髒的衣服！」然後對約書亞說：「看，我已經從你身上除去了你的罪孽，我要給你穿上禮服！」

你們伸開雙手禱告的時候，我必掩目不看你們；就算你們多多禱告，我也不垂聽。你們的雙手沾滿了血！

「我用水給你們施洗，是為了你們的悔改。但在我之後來的那一位，是比我更強有力的，我就是為他提鞋子也不配。他要用聖靈和火給你們施洗。他手裡拿著揚穀的杴，要揚淨他的打穀場，把他的麥子收進倉庫，卻把糠秕用不滅的火燒掉。」
