He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

耶和华如此说：“天是我的座位；地是我的脚凳。你们能为我造怎样的殿宇呢？哪里是我安歇的地方呢？

那创造诸天，铺张穹苍，铺开地与地的出产，赐气息给地上众人，赐生命给行走其上之人的神耶和华如此说：

我们在那里看见巨人，就是巨人中的亚衲族人。我们在自己眼中像蚱蜢一样，而在他们眼中，我们也确是这样。”

他独自铺张诸天，步行在海浪之上。

从你在母腹中就造了你，你的救赎主—耶和华如此说：“我—耶和华创造万物，独自铺张诸天，亲自展开大地；

就是那驾行在亘古的诸天之上的主！听啊，他发出声音，是极大的声音。

耶和华以能力创造大地，以智慧建立世界，以聪明铺张穹苍。

密云将他遮盖，使他不能看见；他周游穹苍。’

列国在他面前如同不存在，在他看来微不足道，只是虚空。

他又说：“主啊，你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手所造的。天地都会消灭，你却长存；天地都会像衣服渐渐旧了；你要将天地卷起来，像卷一件外衣，天地像衣服都会改变。你却永不改变；你的年数没有穷尽。”

却忘记铺张诸天、立定地基、造你的耶和华？你因欺压者图谋毁灭所发的暴怒，终日害怕，其实那欺压者的暴怒在哪里呢？

又有谁能明白密云如何铺张，和神行宫的雷声呢？

他立高天，我在那里，他在渊面的周围划出圆圈，

你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手所造的。天地都会消灭，你却长存；天地都会像外衣渐渐旧了。你要将天地如内衣更换，天地就都改变了。

耶和华坐在洪水之上为王；耶和华坐着为王，直到永远。

“我立大地根基的时候，你在哪里？你若明白事理，只管说吧！你知道是谁定地的尺度，是谁把准绳拉在其上吗？地的根基安置在何处？地的角石是谁安放的？那时，晨星一同歌唱；神的众使者也都欢呼。“当海水冲出，如出母胎，谁用门将它关闭呢？是我用云彩当海的衣服，用幽暗当包裹它的布，

那坐在天上的必讥笑，主必嗤笑他们。

看哪，列国都像水桶里的一滴，又如天平上的微尘；看哪，他举起众海岛，好像举起极微小之物。

论埃及的默示。看哪，耶和华乘驾快云，临到埃及；埃及的偶像在他面前战兢，埃及人的心在里面消溶。

耶和华的默示，他的话论到以色列。铺张诸天、建立地基、造人里面之灵的耶和华说：

你岂能与神同铺穹苍，坚固如同铸成的镜子吗？
