爾當仰觀、天象羅布、有若軍旅、上帝以巨能大力、創造星辰、呼其名、核其數、無不應命。

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

Look up toward the sky. Who created everything you see? The Lord causes the stars to come out at night one by one. He calls out each one of them by name. His power and strength are great. So none of the stars is missing.

Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of his might and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.

‘主耶和華啊！你看，你曾用大能和伸出來的膀臂創造了天地；在你並沒有難成的事。你向千萬人施慈愛，又把父親的罪孽都報應在他們的兒女身上。你是偉大、有能力的神，萬軍之耶和華是你（“你”原文作“他”）的名。你的計劃偉大，你的作為滿有能力；你的眼睛睜開，察看世人一切所行的，要照著各人的行為，和各人所作的事應得的結果來報應各人。

你們要仰觀天空，俯視大地；因為諸天必像煙雲消散，大地要像衣服漸漸破舊；其上的居民必像蠓蟲死亡（“必像蠓蟲死亡”或譯：“必要這樣死去”），但我的拯救卻永遠長存，我的公義也不會廢去。

天是你的，地也是你的；世界和世界充滿的，都是你建立的。南北都是你創造的，他泊和黑門都因你的名歡呼。你有大能的膀臂，你的手強而有力，你的右手高舉。

我的手奠定了大地的根基，我的右手展開了諸天；我一呼喚它們，它們就一同站著侍候。

因為天上地上的萬有：看得見的和看不見的，無論是坐王位的，或是作主的，或是執政的，或是掌權的，都是本著他造的；萬有都是藉著他，又是為著他而造的。他在萬有之先；萬有也一同靠著他而存在。

那創造諸天，展開穹蒼，鋪張大地和大地所出的一切，賜氣息給地上的眾人，又賜靈性給在地上行的人的耶和華神這樣說：

我造光，也造黑暗；我賜平安，也降災禍；我耶和華是造成這一切事的。

太陽和月亮啊！你們要讚美他；光亮的星星啊！你們都要讚美他。天上的天啊！你們要讚美他。天上的水啊！你們要讚美他。願這一切都讚美耶和華的名，因為他一發令，它們就都造成。他把它們立定，直到永永遠遠；他立了定律，永不廢去（“廢去”或譯：“越過”）。

你們要查考和閱讀耶和華的書卷；這些都無一缺少，也沒有一個是沒有伴偶的，因為他的口（按照《馬索拉文本》，“他的口”作“我的口”；現參照《死海古卷》和其他古譯本翻譯）已吩咐了，他的靈已把牠們聚集。

他數點星辰的數目，一一給它們起名。我們的主偉大，大有能力；他的智慧無法測度。

你們要對他們這樣說：“那些沒有創造天地的神，必從地上、從天下消滅。”耶和華用自己的能力創造了大地，用自己的智慧堅立了世界，又用自己的聰明展開了諸天。

我若見太陽（“太陽”直譯是“光”）照耀，或明月行在空中，以致心中暗暗地受到迷惑，用自己的嘴親手；那麼這也就是該受審判的罪孽，因為我欺哄了高高在上的神。

你起初立了地的根基；天也是你手的工作。

我觀看你手所造的天，和你所安放的月亮和星星。啊！人算甚麼，你竟記念他？世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他？

諸天述說神的榮耀，穹蒼傳揚他的作為。

又恐怕你抬頭望天，看見日、月、星，就是天上萬象的時候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它們，那原是耶和華你們的神分給天下萬民享用的。

你的救贖主，就是那在母胎中就造了你的耶和華這樣說：“我耶和華是創造萬物的，我是獨自展開諸天，鋪張大地的。

這樣，天地萬物都造齊了。第七日，神完成了他所作的工；在第七日神歇了他所作的一切工。
