“ You are my witnesses”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and there will be none after me.

“ Remember this and be brave; take it to heart, you transgressors!Remember what happened long ago, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and no one is like me.

so that all may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is no one but me. I am the LORD, and there is no other.

I alone declared, saved, and proclaimed— and not some foreign god among you. So you are my witnesses”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and I am God.

This is what the LORD, the King of Israel and its Redeemer, the LORD of Armies, says: I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me.Who, like me, can announce the future? Let him say so and make a case before me, since I have established an ancient people. Let these gods declare the coming things, and what will take place.Do not be startled or afraid. Have I not told you and declared it long ago? You are my witnesses! Is there any God but me? There is no other Rock; I do not know any.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not considered the foundations of the earth?God is enthroned above the circle of the earth; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like thin cloth and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

Instead he emptied himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity. And when he had come as a man,

But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, descendant of Abraham, my friend—

He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him.He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light.

“ This is my servant; I strengthen him, this is my chosen one; I delight in him. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the nations.

so that all may see and know, consider and understand, that the hand of the LORD has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, whatever he saw.

You learned this from Epaphras, our dearly loved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf,

Moreover, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified wrongly about God that he raised up Christ— whom he did not raise up, if in fact the dead are not raised.

Since I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples,

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has set us free from our sins by his blood,
