“ Do not remember the past events; pay no attention to things of old.

耶和華云、已往之事勿憶、疇昔之事勿思、

今爾勿復憶已往之事、勿追思古昔之事、

“ Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

“ Forget the things that happened in the past. Do not keep on thinking about them.

“ Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.

“ But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.

“ Do not call to mind the former things, Or consider things of the past.

“ Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

“ Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of old.

“ Don’t remember these earlier events; don’t recall these former events.

“ For I will create new heavens and a new earth; the past events will not be remembered or come to mind.

In fact, what had been glorious is not glorious now by comparison because of the glory that surpasses it.

Remember the wondrous works he has done, his wonders, and the judgments he has pronounced,

Remember what happened long ago, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and no one is like me.

“ However, look, the days are coming”— the LORD’s declaration—“ when it will no longer be said,‘ As the LORD lives who brought the Israelites from the land of Egypt,’but rather,‘ As the LORD lives who brought the Israelites from the land of the north and from all the other lands where he had banished them.’ For I will return them to their land that I gave to their ancestors.

do not be afraid of them. Be sure to remember what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and all Egypt:

Remember that the LORD your God led you on the entire journey these forty years in the wilderness, so that he might humble you and test you to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.

“ Look, the days are coming”— the LORD’s declaration—“ when it will no longer be said,‘ As the LORD lives who brought the Israelites from the land of Egypt,’but,‘ As the LORD lives, who brought and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other countries where I had banished them.’ They will dwell once more in their own land.”
