耶和华紧拉着居鲁士的右手，让列国降服在他面前，使君王们的腰带松开；又让门在他面前敞开，使城门也不关闭——耶和华对所膏立的居鲁士如此说：

是我以公义兴起了居鲁士，并要修直他一切的道路。他必重建我的城，释放我的被掳之民，不是为工价，也不是为酬报。”这是万军之耶和华说的。

我要把暗处的宝物和隐秘处的宝藏赐给你，好让你知道：是我耶和华以色列的神提你的名召唤了你。

你们全都聚集来听，假神中谁曾宣告过这些事？耶和华所爱的那位，必行耶和华所喜悦的事对付巴比伦——他的膀臂对付迦勒底人。我亲自说了，我也召唤了他；我把他带来，他必在自己的道路上兴盛。

那时，他想起古时的日子，就是摩西和他子民的日子：那把他们和他群羊的牧人们从海里带上来的，在哪里呢？那把他的圣灵降在他们当中的，在哪里呢？

我要把猛禽从东方召来，把成就我筹算的人从遥远之地召来。我已经说出，就必定使之实现；我计划了，就必定实行。

波斯王居鲁士三年，有话语启示给那名字称为伯提沙撒的但以理。这话语是真实的，是关于大争战；但以理领悟了这话语，也领悟了这异象。

从所照顾的哺乳母羊当中把他带出来，为要牧养自己的子民雅各，自己的继业以色列。于是大卫就以纯全的心牧养他们，以聪慧的手引导他们。

应当怎样回答外邦的使者们呢？当说：“耶和华已奠立了锡安，他子民中的困苦人必投靠其中。”

我要使群山、冈陵荒废，使其上的一切草木枯干；我要使河流变为洲岛，使池塘都枯干。
