祸哉，那对父亲说：“你生的是什么呢？”或对母亲说：“你产的是什么呢？”

有人对父亲说，‘你生的是什么’，对母亲说，‘你生产的是什么’；这人有祸了！”

有人对父亲说，‘你生的是什么’，对母亲说，‘你生产的是什么’；这人有祸了！”

对父亲说‘你生的是什么’或对母亲说‘你产的是什么’的人有祸了！”

那对父亲说：‘你生的是什么’，或对母亲说：‘你产的是什么’的，有祸了！”

祸哉！你这样的人！你对父亲说：“你生下的是什么？”或对母亲说：“你产下的是什么？”

禍哉，那對父親說：你生的是甚麼呢？或對母親說：你產的是甚麼呢？

有人對父親說，『你生的是甚麼』，對母親說，『你生產的是甚麼』；這人有禍了！」

有人對父親說，『你生的是甚麼』，對母親說，『你生產的是甚麼』；這人有禍了！」

對父親說『你生的是什麼』或對母親說『你產的是什麼』的人有禍了！」

那對父親說：‘你生的是甚麼’，或對母親說：‘你產的是甚麼’的，有禍了！”

有禍啊，那對父親說：「你生的是甚麼？」或是對母親說：「你絞痛生產的是甚麼？」』

禍哉！你這樣的人！你對父親說：「你生下的是什麼？」或對母親說：「你產下的是什麼？」

人謂父曰、爾何所生、謂母曰、爾何所產、其有禍矣、

人詰父母曰、爾生予、何為若此、則其禍必不遠矣。

斥父曰、爾奚生子、斥母曰、爾奚產子、斯人禍必及之、

Woe to the one who says to a father,‘ What have you begotten?’ or to a mother,‘ What have you brought to birth?’

How terrible it will be for anyone who says to a father,“ Why did you give me life?” How terrible for anyone who says to a mother,“ Why have you brought me into the world?”

Woe to him who says to a father,‘ What are you begetting?’ or to a woman,‘ With what are you in labor?’”

How terrible it would be if a newborn baby said to its father,‘ Why was I born?’ or if it said to its mother,‘ Why did you make me this way?’”

Woe to the one who says to his father,‘ What are you fathering?’ or to his mother,‘ What are you giving birth to?’”

Woe to him who says to a father,‘ What are you fathering?’ Or to a woman,‘ To what are you giving birth?’ ”

Woe to him who says to his father,‘ What are you begetting?’ Or to the woman,‘ What have you brought forth?’”

Woe unto him that saith unto a father, What begettest thou? or to a woman, With what travailest thou?

How absurd is the one who says to his father,‘ What are you fathering?’ or to his mother,‘ What are you giving birth to?’”

Woe unto him that saith unto[ his] father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

Danger awaits one who says to his father,“ What in the world are you fathering?” and to his mother,“ What in the world are you bringing forth?”

Woe to him who says to a father,‘ What have you become the father of?’ or to a mother,‘ What have you given birth to?’”

“ Cursed is anyone who dishonors their father or mother.” Then all the people shall say,“ Amen!” (niv)

“ A son honors his father, and a slave his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?” says the Lord Almighty.“ It is you priests who show contempt for my name.“ But you ask,‘ How have we shown contempt for your name?’ (niv)

Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! (niv)
