Distil, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, that it may bring forth salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up together; I, Jehovah, have created it.

For as the earth bringeth forth its bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord Jehovah will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap according to kindness; break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek Jehovah, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down sweet wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the brooks of Judah shall flow with waters; and a fountain shall come forth from the house of Jehovah, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, That glory may dwell in our land.Mercy and truth are met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.Truth springeth out of the earth; And righteousness hath looked down from heaven.Yea, Jehovah will give that which is good; And our land shall yield its increase.

He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.

Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.For we are God’s fellow- workers: ye are God’s husbandry, God’s building.

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

The mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.

And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.

In that day shall the branch of Jehovah be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.

For we also once were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and his love toward man, appeared,not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be esteemed as a forest.

I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive- tree, and his smell as Lebanon.They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the grain, and blossom as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered, and will regard him: I am like a green fir- tree; from me is thy fruit found.

How long wilt thou go hither and thither, O thou backsliding daughter? for Jehovah hath created a new thing in the earth: a woman shall encompass a man.

Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye see and hear.

to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.

and put on the new man, that after God hath been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith Jehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.
