爾其就我、以聆斯言、我自元始、不言於隱、自古我已在焉、先知曰今主耶和華遣我、及其神矣、

爾曹至此、以聆斯言、自古在昔、惟我恆存、今頒斯詔、不秘藏於幽密、先知曰、主耶和華遣我、畀我以神。

“ Come near me and listen to this:“ From the first announcement I have not spoken in secret; at the time it happens, I am there.” And now the Sovereign Lord has sent me, endowed with his Spirit.

“ Come close and listen to me.“ From the first time I said Cyrus was coming, I did not do it in secret. When he comes, I will be there.” The Lord and King has filled me with his Spirit. People of Israel, he has sent me to you.

Draw near to me, hear this: from the beginning I have not spoken in secret, from the time it came to be I have been there.” And now the Lord God has sent me, and his Spirit.

Come closer, and listen to this. From the beginning I have told you plainly what would happen.” And now the Sovereign Lord and his Spirit have sent me with this message.

I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants,‘ Seek me in vain.’ I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right. (niv)

“ Be silent before me, you islands! Let the nations renew their strength! Let them come forward and speak; let us meet together at the place of judgment. (niv)

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, (niv)

For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. (niv)

Again Jesus said,“ Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”And with that he breathed on them and said,“ Receive the Holy Spirit. (niv)

I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.For I knew how stubborn you were; your neck muscles were iron, your forehead was bronze.Therefore I told you these things long ago; before they happened I announced them to you so that you could not say,‘ My images brought them about; my wooden image and metal god ordained them.’You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not admit them?“ From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you. (niv)

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. (niv)

A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist. (niv)

For this is what the Lord Almighty says:“ After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you— for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye—I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.“ Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord.“ Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. (niv)
