增其第宅、廣其田疇、致無隙地、獨居於中、禍哉其人、

強據宅第、多得土田、不遺隙地、推其意、幾欲獨攬遍境、深可疾也、

禍哉、爾曹增室於室、增田於田、以致不遺隙地、爾欲獨居斯地乎、

Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field till no space is left and you live alone in the land.

How terrible it will be for you who get too many houses! How terrible for you who get too many fields! Finally there won’t be any space left in the land. Then you will live all alone.

Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room, and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land.

What sorrow for you who buy up house after house and field after field, until everyone is evicted and you live alone in the land.

Woe to those who add house to house and join field to field until there is no more room and you alone are left in the land.

Woe to those who attach house to house and join field to field, Until there is no more room, And you alone are a landowner in the midst of the land!

他們看上田地就佔據，貪圖房屋便奪取；他們欺壓戶主和他的家庭，霸佔人和他的產業。

禍哉！那為本家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩、指望得免災禍的人！你圖謀剪除許多民族，犯了罪，使自己的家蒙羞，自害己命。牆裏的石頭要呼叫，屋內的棟梁必應聲。禍哉！那以鮮血建城、以罪孽造鎮的人！

禍哉！那以不公義蓋房，以不公平造樓，白白使鄰舍做工，卻不給工錢的人，他說：「我要為自己蓋寬敞的房，蓋高大的樓。」他為它開窗戶，以香柏木為牆板，漆上丹紅色。難道你作王就是要蓋香柏木樓房爭勝的嗎？你的父親豈不是也吃也喝，也施行公平和公義嗎？那時他得了福樂。他為困苦和貧窮的人伸冤，那時就得了福樂。認識我不就在此嗎？這是耶和華說的。你的眼和你的心卻專顧不義之財，流無辜人的血，行欺壓和殘暴。

亞哈聽見拿伯死了，就起來，下去要取得耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園。耶和華的話臨到提斯比人以利亞，說：「你起來，去見在撒瑪利亞的以色列王亞哈。看哪，他下去要取得拿伯的葡萄園，他正在那園裏。你要對他說：『耶和華如此說：你殺了人，還要取得他的產業嗎？』又要對他說：『耶和華如此說：狗在何處舔拿伯的血，狗也必在何處舔你的血。』」亞哈對以利亞說：「我的仇敵啊，你找到我了嗎？」他說：「我找到你了。因為你出賣自己，行了耶和華眼中看為惡的事。

然後他用比喻對他們說：「有一個財主，田地出產豐富。他自己心裏想：『我的出產沒有地方儲藏，怎麼辦呢？』就說：『我要這麼辦：要把我的倉庫拆了，另蓋更大的，在那裏好儲藏我一切的糧食和財物，然後要對我自己說：你這個人哪，你有許多財物積存，可供多年享用，只管安安逸逸吃喝快樂吧！』神卻對他說：『無知的人哪！今夜就要你的性命，你所預備的要歸誰呢？』凡為自己積財，在神面前卻不富足的，也是這樣。」耶穌又對門徒說：「所以，我告訴你們，不要為生命憂慮吃甚麼，為身體憂慮穿甚麼。因為生命勝於飲食，身體勝於衣裳。你們想一想烏鴉：牠們既不種也不收，既沒有倉又沒有庫，神尚且養活牠們。你們比飛鳥要貴重得多呢！

「人子啊，耶路撒冷的居民對你的兄弟、你的本家、你的親屬、以色列全家所有的人說：『你們遠離耶和華吧！這地是賜給我們為業的。』

「人子啊，住在以色列荒廢之地的人說：『亞伯拉罕一人能得這地為業，我們人數眾多，這地更是給我們為業的。』

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們當着人的面把天國的門關了，自己不進去，要進去的人，你們也不容他們進去。
