When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst.

耶和華非手短不能救、非耳聾不能聽。

時溯流之水、驟行泛起、濤若堆立、離撒利但旁之亞當邑甚遠、下流之水、至鹽海谷、其流已斷、故耶利哥相向之所、民得過焉。

耶和華曰、我豈力不足耶、今將見我言之應否。○

豈耶和華而有難行之事哉。明年屆期、我必復至、撒拉必生子。

一叱咤而海水涸、汲道絕矣、巴山加密已荒蕪矣、利巴嫩之榮華、倏然凋謝矣、

我有命、彼不應、我有言、彼不從、在我前行惡事、我所不悅者、彼故為之、故我必降災、以彼所懼加其身。

摩西指海、耶和華使東風驟起、飄揚永夕、水退海判、其間若陸地。

其至己地、人不受之、

我有命、爾不應、我有言、爾不從、我所不悅者、爾故為之、我所不喜者、爾故舉之、必數爾罪、使屈身受戮。

我數遣僕先知、告爾云、當改爾惡行、革爾非心、勿崇事他上帝、則可於我賜爾祖及爾之地、安居無虞。然爾不傾耳以聽。

河水將臭、鱗族將亡、俾埃及人厭棄不飲。○

我耶和華、使海中判、俾成途路、

千山荒寂、百草槁枯、江河咸竭、池沼盡涸、我使之然。

水臭魚斃、通國有血、此河之水、人不能飲。

爰叱紅海、海水中判、俾民得濟、如履陸地兮、

余招爾、爾弗聽、余舉手、爾弗答、

迄今召之愈殷、背之愈甚、獻祭於巴力、焚香於偶像、

今爾聽角鼗琴瑟笙簫樂器之音、咸當俯伏拜我所鑄之像、則可、不然、即投爾於洪爐、諸上帝中孰一能救爾於我手、

主因人民蹈於愆尤、使水區為沙漠、江河為槁壤、膏腴之土、成斥鹵之地兮、

使滄海水涸、中判為途、以濟得拯之民者、豈非爾乎。

我民心偏、專背我旨、先知呼民、歸我至上之主、崇我者迄無一人、

哀呼但以理曰、上帝之僕但以理、爾恆事上帝、上帝果能脫爾於獅口乎、

在耶路撒冷逵衢、宜急遍行稽察、若得一人行義言真、則其餘亦必加寛宥。

我今頒詔命、諸民人族姓、凡瀆沙得臘、米煞、亞伯尼坷之上帝者、必剖其體、以其室為厠、蓋無他上帝、能救人若此。

列國諸上帝中、孰一救其國於我手、是則耶和華、焉能救耶路撒冷於我手乎、

耶穌起、斥風告海曰、默而靖、風遂止、大平息、

民涉深淵、若馬行平原、不致顛躓、孰使其然。

我觀崇拜偶像之人、未來之事不能卜、詰之不能答、

涸其江水、絕其河流、

滄海因之而中判、約但因之而回流兮、山巒搖撼、有若牡羊羔羊、以踴以躍兮。滄海何為中判兮、約但何為回流兮、山巒何為搖撼、有若牡羊、有若羔羊、踴躍靡定兮、雅各之上帝耶和華、以磐為沼、以石為泉、大地亦必震動於其前兮。

彼能救人、布其經綸、遍於寰區、救但以理不為獅所殘害、

惟以色列族、行於海中、如履陸地、左右水如壁立。

勿為希西家所惑、而信其言、蓋列邦之上帝、無能拯其民於我祖及我之手、則爾上帝必不能援爾於我手。

夫光臨世、而人作惡、愛暗過於光、此所以定罪也、

我傾耳諦聽、人無正直之言、無悔罪之心、而內自訟焉、彼疾行其道、若馬之臨陳馳驅。
