主永恆主這麼說：『我，我要從香柏樹的高梢兒擰去一枝，給栽上；我要從香柏樹儘頂尖兒折去它的幼枝子、柔嫩嫩的，由我給移植在高峻巍峨的山上；是在以色列高地的山上我要移植它的，好使它發枝條生果子，成為莊嚴秀麗的香柏樹；各種羽族各樣鳥兒都可以棲宿於其下，棲宿於它枝子的蔭影下。田野的樹木就都知道是我永恆主使高大的樹矮小，矮小的樹高大，使多汁的樹枯乾，枯乾的樹茂盛的。我永恆主說了，我必作成。』

他在世界上，世界藉着他而被造，而世人不認識他。他到自己的地方來，而自己的人不接納他。凡接受他的、就是信他名的人，他就給他們權利成為上帝的兒女。這種人不是由於血而生的，不是由於肉慾，也不是由於人慾，乃是由於上帝、而生的。道成了肉身，住在我們中間（我們見過他的榮光，正是個獨生者由父而來的榮光），豐豐滿滿地有恩典有「真實」。（

耶穌對他們說：『「以利亞先來、復興萬事！」那麼那指着人子、說他該受許多苦、並被藐視、是怎麼記載的呢？

『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必給大衛興起一個憑義氣救人的苗裔；他必掌王權，精明而亨通，在國中秉公而行義。

這個人不是那木匠、馬利亞的兒子、雅各約瑟猶大西門的弟兄麼？他妹妹們不也是在我們這裏麼？』就跟他格格不入。

那一天是逾越節的豫備日，大約在中午十二點。彼拉多對猶太人說；『看哪，你們的王！』於是他們嚷着說：『除掉！除掉！釘他十字架！』彼拉多對他們說：『你們的王、我給釘十字架？』祭司長回答說：『除了該撒、我們沒有王！』

耶穌對他說：『狐狸有洞，空中的飛鳥有窩，惟獨人子沒有枕頭的地方！』

於是耶穌出來到外邊，戴着荊棘華冠，穿着紫色衣裳！彼拉多對他們說：『看哪，這個人！』

律法因肉體而軟弱、所不能成的、上帝倒成了：他差了他自己的兒子，用有罪的肉體之樣式、為除罪的緣故、在肉體中定了罪的罪案，

他們就辱罵他說：『你、是那個人的門徒，我們、乃是摩西的門徒。我們知道上帝對摩西說過話；只是這個人呢、我們不知道他是從哪裏來的啊。』

或是統治官由君王所差派、以刑罰作惡的、讚許行善的。

告訴他說：「萬軍之永恆主這樣說道：『看吧，有一個人、他名稱為「樹苗」，他必在他自己的地方長起來，建成永恆主的殿堂。

於是他們又嚷着說：『不要這個人！要巴拉巴！』這巴拉巴是個強盜。

約瑟和馬利亞辦完了照主律法應辦的一切事，就回加利利、到自己的城拿撒勒去了。那孩子漸漸長大，強健起來，充滿着智慧，上帝的恩在他身上。

就生了她的頭胎兒子，用布包起來，讓他躺在秣槽裏，因為客店裏沒有地方容納他們。

他就同他們下去、到拿撒勒、去順服他們；他母親把這一切事都存在心裏。耶穌在智慧和身量上、在得上帝和人的恩愛上、漸漸地增進。
