“ Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.

我是你的上帝，我必與你同在，你不用驚慌也不用害怕。我必賜你力量，幫助你，用我公義的右手扶持你。』

我們曾經離開你，但我們後悔了；我們醒悟之後捶胸頓足，痛悔不已，因早年的所作所為而羞愧難當。』」

因為聖經上說：「看啊，我在錫安放了一塊蒙揀選的寶貴房角石，信靠祂的人必不會蒙羞。」

製造偶像的都必蒙羞受辱，一同慚愧。但以色列必蒙耶和華拯救，享受永遠的救恩，永遠不會再蒙羞受辱。

認識公義、銘記我訓誨的人啊，聽我說。你們不要害怕人的辱罵，也不要畏懼他們的譭謗。

你們曾經蒙受恥辱，如今將得到雙倍的福分；你們曾經遭受屈辱，如今將因得到產業而快樂。你們將在自己的土地上得到雙倍的福分，享受永遠的快樂。

耶和華對何西阿說：「你要再去愛那個另有新歡的淫婦，像耶和華愛以色列人一樣愛她。儘管他們祭拜別的神明，喜愛葡萄餅，耶和華仍然愛他們。」於是，我用一百七十克銀子和一百五十公斤大麥贖回她，對她說：「你要和我住許多日子。這期間不可行淫，不可親近別的男人，我也不與你同房。」以色列人也要有許多日子沒有君王和首領，沒有祭祀和神柱，也沒有以弗得和家庭神像。之後，以色列人將回心轉意，尋求他們的上帝耶和華，歸向他們的君王大衛。在末後的日子，他們將懷著敬畏的心歸向耶和華，領受祂的恩惠。

「如蛆如蟲的雅各啊，以色列人啊，不要怕！我耶和華必幫助你。以色列的聖者是你的救贖主。

因為你忘記了幼年的日子，做這些事來惹我發怒，我要照你的所作所為報應你。因為你不僅行一切可憎的事，還放蕩淫亂。這是主耶和華說的。

你做這一切可憎、淫亂的事，忘記了你幼年赤身露體，在血泊中掙扎的日子。

然而，我顧念在你幼年時與你所立的約，我要與你立一個永遠的約。你接納你姊妹的時候，會想起自己的所作所為並自覺羞愧。我要將你姊妹賜給你作女兒，我這樣做並不是出於我與你所立的約。我要和你立約，使你知道我是耶和華。我要赦免你所有的罪，那時你想起這事會羞愧難當，不敢再開口。這是主耶和華說的。』」
