The idols among the smooth stones of the ravines are your portion; indeed, they are your lot. Yes, to them you have poured out drink offerings and offered grain offerings. In view of all this, should I relent?

You have chosen some of the smooth stones in the valleys to be your gods. You have joined yourselves to them. You have even poured out drink offerings to them. You have given grain offerings to them. So why should I take pity on you?

Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they, are your lot; to them you have poured out a drink offering, you have brought a grain offering. Shall I relent for these things?

Your gods are the smooth stones in the valleys. You worship them with liquid offerings and grain offerings. They, not I, are your inheritance. Do you think all this makes me happy?

Your portion is among the smooth stones of the wadi; indeed, they are your lot. You have even poured out a drink offering to them; you have offered a grain offering; should I be satisfied with these?

因以色列把自己的淫行视作等闲，去与石头木头行淫，就把这地玷污了。

儿子捡柴，父亲生火，妇女抟面，为天后做饼，又向别的神浇奠祭，惹我发怒。

你这对木头说“起来”，对哑石说“醒吧”的人，有祸了！它怎能教导你呢？看哪！它包金镶银，里面却全无气息。

以色列家啊，至于你们，主耶和华这样说：你们各人去事奉自己的偶像吧！只是将来你们必要听从我，不可再以你们的供物和偶像亵渎我的圣名。

宰牛献祭，又杀人，献羊羔为祭，又打折狗的颈项；献上素祭，又献上猪血；烧乳香作记念祭，又称颂虚无之神；他们选择他们自己的道路，他们的心里喜悦他们那些可憎恶的事。

我因这些事怎能不惩罚他们呢？像这样的国家，我怎能不亲自报复呢？”这是耶和华的宣告。

攻打这城的迦勒底人必进来，放火烧城，城中的房屋都必烧光，因为这城的居民曾在那些房屋的屋顶上向巴力烧香，向别神浇奠祭，惹我发怒。

我们口中说过的一切话，我们一定去作，我们要向天后烧香，浇奠祭，好像我们自己和我们的列祖，以及我们的君王和领袖，在犹大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上所行的一样。那时我们吃得饱，得享福乐，不见灾祸。但是，自从我们停止向天后烧香和浇奠祭以后，我们就样样都缺乏，又因刀剑和饥荒灭亡。”那些妇女又说：“我们不错是向天后烧香和浇奠祭，难道我们的丈夫不知道我们照着天后的形象制饼供奉她，向她浇奠祭吗？”耶利米对全体人民，对那些用这话答覆他的男人、女人和众民说：“你们和你们的列祖，以及你们的君王、领袖，和全国的人民，在犹大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上烧的香，耶和华怎能忘记，他心里怎能不想起呢？耶和华再不能容忍你们邪恶的行为，和你们所行可憎的事；故此，你们的土地荒凉，成了令人惊骇、被人咒诅的对象，没有人居住，好像今天一样。因为你们向别神烧香，得罪了耶和华，不听从耶和华的话，不遵行他的律法、条例和法度，所以这灾祸临到你们，好像今天一样。”耶利米又对众民和众妇女说：“在埃及地所有的犹大人哪，要听耶和华的话！万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘你们和你们的妻子亲口说过：我们一定要实行我们的愿，向天后烧香，浇奠祭。你们果然亲手作了。现在你们只管持定你们所许的愿，只管实行你们的誓言吧！’

他必说：‘他们的神在哪里呢？他们投靠的磐石在哪里呢？就是向来吃他们祭牲脂肪的，喝他们奠祭之酒的神在哪里呢？让他们兴起来帮助你们吧，愿他们保护你们吧！
