For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.

Long ago you did some wonderful things we didn’t expect. You came down, and the mountains trembled when you showed your power.

When you did awesome things that we did not look for, you came down, the mountains quaked at your presence.

When you came down long ago, you did awesome deeds beyond our highest expectations. And oh, how the mountains quaked!

当对神说：“你的作为何等可畏！因你的大能，仇敌要投降你。

在含地行奇事，在红海行可畏的事。

神从提幔而来；圣者从巴兰山临到。（细拉）他的荣光遮蔽诸天；颂赞充满大地。

你们来看神所行的，他向世人所做之事是可畏的。

那时，地见神的面而震动，天也落雨；西奈山见以色列神的面也震动。

他站立，量了大地，观看，赶散万民。永久的山崩裂；长存的岭塌陷；他的作为与古时一样。

他是你所赞美的，是你的神，为你做了那大而可畏的事，是你亲眼所看见的。

“耶和华啊，你从西珥出来，由以东地行走。那时地震天漏，云也落雨。山见耶和华的面就震动，西奈山见耶和华以色列神的面也是如此。

愿你裂天而降；愿山在你面前震动，

神何曾从别的国中将一国的人民领出来，用试验、神迹、奇事、争战、大能的手，和伸出来的膀臂，并大可畏的事，像耶和华你们的神在埃及，在你们眼前为你们所行的一切事呢？

在敌人中间显他的神迹，在含地显他的奇事。他命黑暗，就有黑暗；没有违背他话的。他叫埃及的水变为血，叫他们的鱼死了。在他们的地上以及王宫的内室，青蛙多多滋生。他说一声，苍蝇就成群而来，并有虱子进入他们四境。他给他们降下冰雹为雨，在他们的地上降下火焰。他也击打他们的葡萄树和无花果树，毁坏他们境内的树木。他说一声，就有蝗虫蚂蚱上来，不计其数，吃尽了他们地上各样的菜蔬和田地的出产。他又击杀他们国内一切的长子，就是他们强壮时头生的。

拯救我们的神啊，你必以威严秉公义应允我们；你本是一切地极和海上远处的人所倚靠的。他既以大能束腰，就用力量安定诸山，

世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你从埃及救赎他们作自己的子民，又在你赎出来的民面前行大而可畏的事，驱逐列邦人和他们的神，显出你的大名。

耶和华说：“我要立约，要在百姓面前行奇妙的事，是在遍地万国中所未曾行的。在你四围的外邦人就要看见耶和华的作为，因我向你所行的是可畏惧的事。

他要挫折王子的骄气；他向地上的君王显威可畏。
