看哪，這都寫在我面前。我必不靜默，必施行報應，必將你們的罪孽和你們列祖的罪孽，就是在山上燒香，在岡上褻瀆我的罪孽，一同報應在他們後人懷中，我先要把他們所行的量給他們；這是耶和華說的。

萬軍之耶和華親自默示我說：這罪孽直到你們死，斷不得赦免！這是主－萬軍之耶和華說的。

這就是你們自己證明是殺害先知者的子孫了。你們去充滿你們祖宗的惡貫吧！你們這些蛇類、毒蛇之種啊，怎能逃脫地獄的刑罰呢？所以我差遣先知和智慧人並文士到你們這裏來，有的你們要殺害，要釘十字架；有的你們要在會堂裏鞭打，從這城追逼到那城，叫世上所流義人的血都歸到你們身上，從義人亞伯的血起，直到你們在殿和壇中間所殺的巴拉加的兒子撒迦利亞的血為止。我實在告訴你們，這一切的罪都要歸到這世代了。」

你們剩下的人必因自己的罪孽和祖宗的罪孽在仇敵之地消滅。

約沙法行他父親亞撒所行的道，不偏離左右，行耶和華眼中看為正的事；只是邱壇還沒有廢去，百姓仍在那裏獻祭燒香。

並在邱壇上、山岡上、各青翠樹下獻祭燒香。
