I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and from Judah those who will possess my mountains; my chosen people will inherit them, and there will my servants live.

I will give children to the families of Jacob and Judah. They will possess my entire land. My chosen people will be given all of it. Those who serve me will live there.

I will bring forth offspring from Jacob, and from Judah possessors of my mountains; my chosen shall possess it, and my servants shall dwell there.

I will preserve a remnant of the people of Israel and of Judah to possess my land. Those I choose will inherit it, and my servants will live there.

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit[ them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree[ are] the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.And David my servant[ shall be] king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein,[ even] they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David[ shall be] their prince for ever.Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be[ any] remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken[ it].And[ they of] the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and[ they of] the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin[ shall possess] Gilead.And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel[ shall possess] that of the Canaanites,[ even] unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which[ is] in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD,[ then] the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east,[ shall be] holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.For, behold, I[ am] for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel,[ even] all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better[ unto you] than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you,[ even] my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them[ of men].Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou[ land] devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.Neither will I cause[ men] to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.

As concerning the gospel,[ they are] enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election,[ they are] beloved for the fathers’ sakes.

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.The remnant shall return,[ even] the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea,[ yet] a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made[ them] afraid.When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;Then shall they know that I[ am] the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make[ men] go over dryshod.And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

At that time will I bring you[ again], even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;[ Then] may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant[ be] not with day and night,[ and if] I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant,[ so] that I will not take[ any] of his seed[ to be] rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I[ am] the LORD their God, and will hear them.And[ they of] Ephraim shall be like a mighty[ man], and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see[ it], and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and[ place] shall not be found for them.And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.And if by grace, then[ is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if[ it be] of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
