Then I went and slept with my wife, who was a prophet. She became pregnant and had a baby boy. The Lord said to me,“ Name him Maher- Shalal- Hash- Baz.

我以赛亚与妻子同房，她就怀孕生了个儿子。耶和华对我说：“给他取名叫玛黑珥·沙拉勒·哈施·罢斯。

我亲近了女先知，就是我妻子，她就怀孕生子。耶和华对我说：“给他起名叫‘玛黑珥．沙拉勒．哈施．罢斯’，

后来我与女先知亲近，她就怀孕，生了一个儿子。耶和华对我说：“你要给他起名为玛黑珥·萨拉勒·哈施·罢斯，

我－以賽亞與妻子同室；她懷孕生子，耶和華就對我說：「給他起名叫瑪黑珥‧沙拉勒‧哈施‧罷斯；

後來我與女先知親近，她就懷孕，生了一個兒子。耶和華對我說：「你要給他起名為瑪黑珥·薩拉勒·哈施·罷斯，

於是我與先知婦同室、懷妊生子、耶和華諭我曰、命名瑪黑珥沙勒哈施罷斯、

我與妻寢、一索而得男、耶和華命名馬黑沙辣哈八、

我與妻同室、懷孕生子、主諭我曰、稱其名瑪黑珥沙拉勒哈斯罷斯、譯即擄事速臨掠事急至之義

Then I made love to the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. And the Lord said to me,“ Name him Maher- Shalal- Hash- Baz.

Then I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the Lord said to me,“ Call his name Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz;

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said Jehovah unto me, Call his name Maher- shalal- hash- baz.

I was then intimate with the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. The Lord said to me,“ Name him Maher-shalal-hash-baz,

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

I then had sexual relations with the prophetess; she conceived and gave birth to a son. The LORD told me,“ Name him Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz,

I went to the prophetess, and she conceived, and bore a son. Then Yahweh said to me,“ Call his name‘ Maher Shalal Hash Baz.’

Deborah was a prophet. She was the wife of Lappidoth. She was leading Israel at that time.

Hilkiah the priest went to speak to Huldah the prophet. So did Ahikam, Akbor, Shaphan and Asaiah. Huldah was the wife of Shallum. Shallum was the son of Tikvah. Tikvah was the son of Harhas. Shallum took care of the sacred robes. Huldah lived in the New Quarter of Jerusalem.

Then Isaiah said,“ Listen, you members of the royal family of David! Isn’t it enough for you to test the patience of human beings? Are you also going to test the patience of my God?The Lord himself will give you a sign. The virgin is going to have a baby. She will give birth to a son. And he will be called Immanuel.

So Hosea married Gomer. She was the daughter of Diblaim. Gomer became pregnant and had a son by Hosea.Then the Lord said to Hosea,“ Name him Jezreel. That’s because I will soon punish Jehu’s royal family. He killed many people at the city of Jezreel. So I will put an end to the kingdom of Israel.At that time I will break their military power. It will happen in the Valley of Jezreel.”Gomer became pregnant again. She had a daughter. Then the Lord said to Hosea,“ Name her Lo- Ruhamah.” Lo- Ruhamah means Not Loved.“ That’s because I will no longer show love to the people of Israel. I will not forgive them anymore.But I will show love to the people of Judah. And I will save them. I will not use bows or swords or other weapons of war to do it. I will not save them by using horses and horsemen either. Instead, I will use my own power to save them. I am the Lord their God. And I will save them.”Later, Gomer stopped nursing Lo- Ruhamah. After that, she had another son.Then the Lord said,“ Name him Lo- Ammi.” Lo- Ammi means Not My People.“ That’s because Israel is no longer my people. And I am no longer their God.
