So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

And[ when] the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard[ it]; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed[ them that were] in the uttermost parts of the camp.And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.

For[ it is] the day of the LORD’S vengeance,[ and] the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of[ his] anger, and[ with] the flame of a devouring fire,[ with] scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

For this[ is] an heinous crime; yea, it[ is] an iniquity[ to be punished by] the judges.For it[ is] a fire[ that] consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.

And the people shall be[ as] the burnings of lime:[ as] thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.

For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one[ tree] in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

But I will remove far off from you the northern[ army], and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench[ them].

Fury[ is] not in me: who would set the briers[ and] thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

But that which beareth thorns and briers[ is] rejected, and[ is] nigh unto cursing; whose end[ is] to be burned.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff[ that] is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.
