If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

If any of you needs wisdom, you should ask God for it. He will give it to you. God gives freely to everyone and doesn’t find fault.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (niv)

But where can wisdom be found? Where does understanding dwell?No mortal comprehends its worth; it cannot be found in the land of the living.The deep says,“ It is not in me”; the sea says,“ It is not with me.”It cannot be bought with the finest gold, nor can its price be weighed out in silver.It cannot be bought with the gold of Ophir, with precious onyx or lapis lazuli.Neither gold nor crystal can compare with it, nor can it be had for jewels of gold.Coral and jasper are not worthy of mention; the price of wisdom is beyond rubies.The topaz of Cush cannot compare with it; it cannot be bought with pure gold.Where then does wisdom come from? Where does understanding dwell?It is hidden from the eyes of every living thing, concealed even from the birds in the sky.Destruction and Death say,“ Only a rumor of it has reached our ears.”God understands the way to it and he alone knows where it dwells,for he views the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.When he established the force of the wind and measured out the waters,when he made a decree for the rain and a path for the thunderstorm,then he looked at wisdom and appraised it; he confirmed it and tested it.And he said to the human race,“ The fear of the Lord— that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.” (niv)

So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the Lord has commanded.”Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work.They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning.So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing (niv)

To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task? (niv)

So he got up and went to his father.“ But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.“ The son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’“ But the father said to his servants,‘ Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. (niv)

Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. (niv)
