然務必求之以信、莫存絲毫狐疑。狐疑之人、如海上波濤、因風而起、隨風而轉、漫無定止；

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (niv)

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. (niv)

These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm— shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted— twice dead.They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. Turbulent as the waters, you will no longer excel, for you went up onto your father’s bed, onto my couch and defiled it. (niv)
