但其求也、宜信而無疑、蓋疑者譬之海浪、風激而蕩漾、

祈時當信勿疑、疑者譬之海浪、風吹盪漾、

惟求之時、當信無疑、蓋疑者譬諸海浪、風吹奔盪、

然務必求之以信、莫存絲毫狐疑。狐疑之人、如海上波濤、因風而起、隨風而轉、漫無定止；

耶穌回答他們：「我實在告訴你們，你們若有信心，不疑惑，不但能行我對無花果樹所行的事，就是對這座山說：『離開此地，投在海裏！』也會實現。你們禱告，無論求甚麼，只要信，就必得着。」

沒有信，就不能討神的喜悅，因為到神面前來的人必須信有神，並且信他會賞賜尋求他的人。

這樣，我們不再作小孩子，中了人的詭計和欺騙的法術，被一切邪說之風搖動，飄來飄去。

耶穌回答：「你們對神要有信心。我實在告訴你們，無論何人對這座山說：『離開此地，投在海裏！』他心裏若不疑惑，只信所說的必成，就為他實現。所以我告訴你們，凡你們禱告祈求的，無論是甚麼，只要信你們已經得着了，就為你們實現。

我們要堅守所宣認的指望，毫不動搖，因為應許我們的那位是信實的。

你們不要被種種怪異的教訓勾引了去，因為人的心靠恩典得堅固才是好的，並不是靠飲食。那在飲食上用心的，從來沒有得到益處。

我希望男人舉起聖潔的手隨處禱告，不發怒，不爭論。

這些人是無水的泉源，是狂風催逼的霧氣，有漆黑的幽暗為他們存留。

這樣的人是你們愛筵上的污點；他們無所懼怕地同你們宴樂，彷彿牧人只顧餵飽自己。他們是無雨的浮雲，被風飄蕩；是秋天沒有果子的樹，死而又死，連根被拔出來；是海裏的狂浪，湧出自己可恥的沫子來；是流蕩的星，有漆黑的幽暗永遠為他們保留着。

你卻放縱如水，必不得居首位；因為你上了你父親的床，你上了我的榻，污辱了它！
