人若知道行善，却不去行，这就是他的罪了。

所以，那知道该行美善的事而不去行的，对他来说，这就是罪了。

蓋知善而不行者罪也、

見善不行、即為惡、

知何以行善而不行之者、即為有罪、

人如見善不為、即罪也。

If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

So suppose someone knows the good deeds they should do. But suppose they don’t do them. By not doing these good deeds, they sin.

So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

So it is sin to know the good and yet not do it.

So for one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin.

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

So it is a sin for the person who knows to do what is good and doesn’t do it.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth[ it] not, to him it is sin.

So whoever knows what is good to do and does not do it is guilty of sin.

To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin.

Jesus said,“ If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains. (niv)

Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. (niv)

It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. (niv)

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. (niv)

Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. (niv)

“ The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. (niv)

Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God;if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark,an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of little children, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth—you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? (niv)

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities— his eternal power and divine nature— have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. (niv)

Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good to bring about my death, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful. (niv)
