Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.

He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins except God alone?”Immediately Jesus, aware in His spirit that they were thinking that way within themselves,* said to them,“ Why are you thinking about these things in your hearts?Which is easier, to say to the paralyzed man,‘ Your sins are forgiven’; or to say,‘ Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— He* said to the paralyzed man,“ I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet, and go home.”

And Jesus answered and* said to them,“ Have faith in God.Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,‘ Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
