And Jehovah said unto the children of Israel, Did not I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

The Lord said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

And the LORD said unto the children of Israel,[ Did] not[ I deliver you] from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

So the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.

After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who killed six hundred men of the Philistines with an ox goad; and he also delivered Israel.

Then Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,“ Let me pass through your land. We will not turn aside into fields or vineyards; we will not drink water from wells. We will go by the King’s Highway until we have passed through your territory.”But Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his territory. So Sihon gathered all his people together and went out against Israel in the wilderness, and he came to Jahaz and fought against Israel.Then Israel defeated him with the edge of the sword, and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the people of Ammon; for the border of the people of Ammon was fortified.So Israel took all these cities, and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon and in all its villages.

By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.

So the Lord strengthened Eglon king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the Lord.Then he gathered to himself the people of Ammon and Amalek, went and defeated Israel, and took possession of the City of Palms.So the children of Israel served Eglon king of Moab eighteen years.But when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for them: Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a left-handed man. By him the children of Israel sent tribute to Eglon king of Moab.

Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make His mighty power known.He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up; So He led them through the depths, As through the wilderness.He saved them from the hand of him who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.The waters covered their enemies; There was not one of them left.

Then the Angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said:“ I led you up from Egypt and brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers; and I said,‘ I will never break My covenant with you.And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this?Therefore I also said,‘ I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you.’”

So they defeated him, his sons, and all his people, until there was no survivor left him; and they took possession of his land.

And destroyed all the firstborn in Egypt, The first of their strength in the tents of Ham.But He made His own people go forth like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;And He led them on safely, so that they did not fear; But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
