For three hundred years Israel occupied Heshbon, Aroer, the surrounding settlements and all the towns along the Arnon. Why didn’t you retake them during that time?

For 300 years Israel has been living in Heshbon and Aroer. They have been living in the settlements around those cities. They have also been living in all the towns along the Arnon River. Why didn’t you take those places back during that time?

While Israel lived in Heshbon and its villages, and in Aroer and its villages, and in all the cities that are on the banks of the Arnon, 300 years, why did you not deliver them within that time?

“ Israel has been living here for 300 years, inhabiting Heshbon and its surrounding settlements, all the way to Aroer and its settlements, and in all the towns along the Arnon River. Why have you made no effort to recover it before now?

While Israel lived three hundred years in Heshbon and Aroer and their surrounding villages, and in all the cities that are on the banks of the Arnon, why didn’t you take them back at that time?

從亞嫩谷旁的亞羅珥和谷中的城，直到基列，沒有一座城是高得我們不能攻取的；耶和華－我們的神把它們全都交給我們了。

我們把這些都毀滅了，像從前待希實本王西宏一樣，毀滅各城的男人、女人、孩子；

約書亞和這些王作戰了很長的一段日子。

陀拉作以色列的士師二十三年。他死了，葬在沙密。陀拉以後有基列人睚珥興起，作以色列的士師二十二年。

還有在希實本作王的亞摩利王西宏的諸城，直到亞捫人的邊界；

從那年起，他們欺壓迫害以色列人，在約旦河東，亞摩利人境內，基列一帶所有的以色列人，長達十八年。

你們起來往前去，過亞嫩谷。看，我已將亞摩利人希實本王西宏和他的地交在你手中，你要開始去得他的地為業，向他挑戰。

於是這地太平四十年。基納斯的兒子俄陀聶死了。

那日，摩押在以色列手下制伏了。於是這地太平八十年。

耶和華使以色列人從四圍所有的仇敵中得享安寧，已經有很多日子了。約書亞年紀老邁，

「耶和華啊，願你的仇敵都這樣滅亡！願愛你的人如太陽上升，大發光輝！」於是這地太平四十年。

亞比米勒治理以色列三年。

有住希實本的亞摩利王西宏，他統治的地從亞嫩谷邊的亞羅珥起，包括谷中之城和基列的一半，直到亞捫人邊界的雅博河，

耶和華對我說：『不要怕他！因我已把他和他的眾百姓，以及他的地，都交在你手中；你要待他像從前待住在希實本的亞摩利王西宏一樣。』

他統治的地是黑門山、撒迦、巴珊全地，直到基述人和瑪迦人的邊界，以及基列的一半，直到希實本王西宏的邊界。

這樣，米甸就被以色列人制伏了，再也不能抬頭。基甸還在的日子，這地太平四十年。
