And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.

語其妻曰、我儕必死、因睹上帝也、

則語其妻曰、我儕睹上帝、必致死亡。

瑪挪亞謂妻曰、我儕見神、必致死亡、

“ We are doomed to die!” he said to his wife.“ We have seen God!”

“ We’re going to die!” he said to his wife.“ We’ve seen God!”

And Manoah said to his wife,“ We shall surely die, for we have seen God.”

and he said to his wife,“ We will certainly die, for we have seen God!”

“ We’re certainly going to die,” he said to his wife,“ because we have seen God!”

So Manoah said to his wife,“ We will certainly die, for we have seen God.”

And Manoah said to his wife,“ We shall surely die, because we have seen God!”

And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.

“ We’re going to die,” he said to his wife,“ because we have seen God!”

Manoah said to his wife,“ We will certainly die, because we have seen a supernatural being!”

Manoah said to his wife,“ We shall surely die, because we have seen God.”

And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

For who[ is there of] all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we[ have], and lived?

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared[ him].

To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou[ art], to bring thee in, to give thee their land[ for] an inheritance, as[ it is] this day.

And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

Then said I, Woe[ is] me! for I am undone; because I[ am] a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

And when Gideon perceived that he[ was] an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.

And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
