Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord,“ You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was very thirsty. So he cried out to the Lord. He said,“ You have helped me win this great battle. Do I have to die of thirst now? Must I fall into the power of people who haven’t even been circumcised? They aren’t your people.”

And he was very thirsty, and he called upon the Lord and said,“ You have granted this great salvation by the hand of your servant, and shall I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was now very thirsty, and he cried out to the Lord,“ You have accomplished this great victory by the strength of your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of these pagans?”

He became very thirsty and called out to the LORD,“ You have accomplished this great victory through your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Then he became very thirsty, and he called to the Lord and said,“ You have handed this great victory over to Your servant, and now am I to die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

And he was sore athirst, and called on Jehovah, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance by the hand of thy servant; and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised.

无论狮子还是熊，你的仆人都击杀过。这未受割礼的非利士人也必像它们中的一个，因为他辱骂永生神的军队。”

大卫心里说：“我总有一天会死在扫罗手中，已经别无选择，只能逃到非利士人之地；这样，扫罗就会放弃，不会继续在以色列全境寻索我，我也就逃脱他的手了。”

我们处处受患难，却不被压碎；心里困惑，却没有绝望；受逼迫，却不被撇弃；被打倒，却没有灭亡。

弟兄们，我们不愿意你们不明白我们在亚细亚省所遭受的患难：我们所受的压力远远过于我们的承受能力，甚至连活下去的希望也没有了。然而我们在自己里面已经承受了死亡的判决，好让我们不依靠自己，而依靠那使死人复活的神。

耶和华啊，求你起来！我的神哪，求你拯救我！是的，你击打了我一切仇敌的脸颊，打碎了恶人的牙。救恩在于耶和华！愿你的祝福临到你的子民。细拉

并且为了不让我因这些极大的启示而高抬自己，有一根刺加在我的肉体上，就是撒旦的使者来击打我，免得我高抬自己。为了这事，我三次求主使这根刺离开我。

除了耶和华，谁是神呢？除了我们的神，谁是磐石呢？这位神，他以能力装备我，他使我的道路纯全。他使我的脚快如母鹿的脚，又使我稳立在高处。他训练我的手作战，使我的膀臂能拉开铜弓。你把你救恩的盾牌赐给我，你的右手扶持我，你的谦卑使我为大。你使我脚下的路宽阔，我的脚踝也不颤抖。我追赶我的仇敌，并要追上他们；不灭绝他们，我绝不返回。我击碎他们，使他们不能起来；他们都仆倒在我的脚下。你以能力装备我作战，又使起来敌对我的人屈服在我之下。你使我的仇敌在我面前转身而逃，我把那些恨我的人除尽。

这事以后，耶稣知道一切都已经完成了，为要应验经上的话，就说：“我渴了。”

亚伯拉罕回答：“因为我想这地方一定没有敬畏神的人，他们会因我妻子的缘故杀了我。

埃及人看见你的时候，就会说‘这是他的妻子’，然后杀了我，却让你存活。请你说你是我的妹妹，好让我因你的缘故受到善待，我的性命也因你的缘故得以存活。”

我像水一样被倾倒，我全身的骨头都脱节了；我的心像蜡那样，在我里面融化。我的力量如同瓦片一样枯干，我的舌头紧贴在上颚；你把我安放在死亡的尘土中。

我还要再说什么呢？如果我一一述说基甸、巴拉克、叁孙、耶弗达、大卫、撒母耳和先知们的事，时间就不够了。

大卫问站在旁边的人说：“如果有人击杀这非利士人，除掉以色列的羞辱，他会被怎样对待呢？这未受割礼的非利士人是谁，竟敢辱骂永生神的军队！”

雅各过毗努伊勒的时候，太阳初升，照在他身上。他因大腿的伤就一瘸一拐。
