大利拉对参孙说：“你既不与我同心，怎么说你爱我呢？你这三次欺哄我，没有告诉我，你因何有这么大的力气。”

大利拉對參孫說：『你既無心於我，怎麼說你愛我呢？你，你這三次愚弄了我，竟沒有告訴我你力氣這麼大是在於甚麼。』

女曰、爾心不在我、何云愛我乎、爾欺我者三、未告我以大力何由而有、

女曰、爾之中心不與我相合、而尚言眷愛我乎。爾欺我者三。不以爾之大力何由而得告我。

大利拉曰、爾心向我不誠、原文作爾心不與我偕如何言愛我乎、爾欺我者三、不告我爾由何有此大力、

Then she said to him,“ How can you say,‘ I love you,’ when you won’t confide in me? This is the third time you have made a fool of me and haven’t told me the secret of your great strength.”

Then she said to him,“ How can you say,‘ I love you’? You won’t even share your secret with me. This is the third time you have made me look foolish. And you still haven’t told me the secret of why you are so strong.”

And she said to him,“ How can you say,‘ I love you,’ when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times, and you have not told me where your great strength lies.”

Then Delilah pouted,“ How can you tell me,‘ I love you,’ when you don’t share your secrets with me? You’ve made fun of me three times now, and you still haven’t told me what makes you so strong!”

“ How can you say,‘ I love you,’” she told him,“ when your heart is not with me? This is the third time you have mocked me and not told me what makes your strength so great!”

Then she said to him,“ How can you say,‘ I love you,’ when your heart is not with me? You have toyed with me these three times and have not told me where your great strength is.”

Then she said to him,“ How can you say,‘ I love you,’ when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times, and have not told me where your great strength lies.”

And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thy heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.

“ How can you say,‘ I love you,’” she told him,“ when your heart is not with me? This is the third time you have mocked me and not told me what makes your strength so great!”

And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart[ is] not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength[ lieth].

She said to him,“ How can you say,‘ I love you,’ when you will not share your secret with me? Three times you have deceived me and have not told me what makes you so strong.”

我兒啊，要把你的心交給我，你的眼目要謹守我的道路！

雖然淫婦的嘴唇滴落蜂房之蜜，她的唇齒比油更滑；但她的盡頭，卻苦澀如苦艾，銳利如雙刃的刀劍；她的雙腳下到死地，她的腳步踏入陰間；她不度量生命的路途，她的路徑變遷不定，自己卻不知道。孩子們哪，現在你們當聽從我，不要偏離我口中的言語！當使你的道路遠離那女人，不要靠近她家的門口；免得把你的尊榮交給別人，把你的歲月交給殘忍的人；免得別人滿得你的力量，你的勞苦所得就歸入外人的家。當你的皮肉和身體衰竭時，你必在你的盡頭哀嘆，說：「我怎麼就恨惡了管教呢？我的心怎麼就藐視了責備呢？我沒有聽老師的話，也沒有側耳聽教導我的人；在聚集的會眾裡，我幾乎身敗名裂！」

那領受我命令並遵守的人，就是愛我的。愛我的會蒙我父所愛，我也會愛他，並且會向他顯明我自己。」不是加略人的那個猶大問耶穌：「主啊，怎麼會這樣呢？你為什麼要向我們顯明自己，而不向世人顯明呢？」耶穌回答說：「如果有人愛我，他就會遵守我的話語，我父也會愛他，而且我們將要來到他那裡，並且在他那裡安置我們的住處。不愛我的人，就不遵守我的話語。事實上，你們所聽見的話語，不是我的，而是那派我來的父的話語。

實際上，基督的愛催逼著我們，因為我們如此判定：既然一個人替所有的人死了，所有的人就都死了；基督替所有的人死了，好讓那些活著的人不再為自己活，卻為替他們死而復活的基督而活。

「你們如果愛我，就會遵守我的命令。

如果你們遵守我的命令，就會住在我的愛裡；就像我遵守了我父的命令，住在他的愛裡那樣。

押沙龍問戶篩：「這是你對朋友的忠誠嗎？你為什麼沒有與你的朋友一起離開呢？」

撒母耳到了掃羅那裡，掃羅對他說：「願你蒙耶和華祝福！我已經執行了耶和華的命令。」撒母耳說：「那麼我耳中這羊叫的聲音、我所聽見的牛叫聲，是怎麼回事呢？」

這也是要解救你遠離淫婦，遠離說諂媚話的淫蕩女子——

於是雅各為拉結的緣故服事了七年；因他對拉結的愛，在他眼中看這七年如同幾天。
