And when their hearts were merry, they said,“ Call Samson, that he may entertain us.” So they called Samson out of the prison, and he entertained them. They made him stand between the pillars.

Half drunk by now, the people demanded,“ Bring out Samson so he can amuse us!” So he was brought from the prison to amuse them, and they had him stand between the pillars supporting the roof.

When they were in good spirits, they said,“ Bring Samson here to entertain us.” So they brought Samson from prison, and he entertained them. They had him stand between the pillars.

It so happened when they were in high spirits, that they said,“ Call for Samson, that he may amuse us.” So they called for Samson from the prison, and he entertained them. And they made him stand between the pillars.

So it happened, when their hearts were merry, that they said,“ Call for Samson, that he may perform for us.” So they called for Samson from the prison, and he performed for them. And they stationed him between the pillars.

但我跌倒的時候，他們卻歡喜聚集；我不認識的卑賤人聚集攻擊我，不停地撕扯我；他們像宴席上狂妄的譏笑者，向我咬牙切齒。

那些路過的人辱罵耶穌，搖著頭，說：「你這個要拆毀聖所、三天內又建起來的人哪，救救你自己吧！你如果是神的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」同樣，祭司長們也與經文士們和長老們一起嘲笑，說：「他救了別人，卻不能救自己！他是以色列的王！現在讓他從十字架上下來吧，這樣我們就信靠他！他依靠神，如果神喜悅他，就讓神現在救他吧！因為他說過『我是神的兒子。』」與耶穌一起被釘十字架的強盜也同樣地責罵他。

信使們被王令催促就出發，而這法令也在蘇薩城堡頒布了。那時王與哈曼坐著喝酒，蘇薩城卻陷入混亂。

用荊棘編了冠冕，戴在他的頭上，又把一根蘆葦放在他的右手裡，然後跪在他面前，戲弄他說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」

到了希律生日的時候，希羅迪婭的女兒在眾人面前跳舞，使希律非常喜悅，故此王就起誓承諾，無論她求什麼都給她。

因為他們追逼你所擊打的人，議論你所擊傷之人的痛苦。

伯沙撒酒酣之時，吩咐人把他先王尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷的聖殿中取走的金銀器皿帶來，好讓王和他的大臣們、妻子們、妃嬪們都用這些來喝酒。於是人把聖殿——耶路撒冷神的殿中所取走的金器皿帶來，王和他的大臣們、妻子們、妃嬪們就用這些來喝酒。

坐在城門口的人談論我，我成了醉酒之人的歌謠。

當時他們就往他臉上吐唾沫，用拳頭打他，也有人用手掌打他，說：「給我們說預言吧！基督！打你的是誰？」

你的仇敵跌倒時，你不要歡喜；他傾倒時，你的心不要快樂；免得耶和華看見，在他眼中看為惡，他就使他的怒氣從仇敵身上轉消。

另有些人經受了戲弄、鞭打的試煉；還有些人受了捆鎖、監禁的試煉；
