So Delilah said to Samson,“ Tell me what makes you so strong and how you can be subdued and humiliated.”

大利拉对参孙说：“求你告诉我，你因何有这么大的力气，当用何法捆绑克制你。”

大利拉对参孙说：“请你告诉我，你为何有这么大的力气，要用什么方法才能捆绑制伏你。”

大利拉对参孙说：“请你告诉我，你为何有这么大的力气，要用什么方法才能捆绑制伏你。”

于是，大利拉问参孙：“求你告诉我，你为什么有这么大力气？用什么办法才能把你绑起来制服你？”

大利拉对参孙说：“求你告诉我，你因什么缘故有这样大的力气，要用什么方法才能捆绑你，好把你制伏。”

大利拉對參孫說：「求你告訴我，你因何有這麼大的力氣，當用何法捆綁剋制你。」

大利拉對參孫說：「請你告訴我，你為何有這麼大的力氣，要用甚麼方法才能捆綁制伏你。」

大利拉對參孫說：「請你告訴我，你為何有這麼大的力氣，要用甚麼方法才能捆綁制伏你。」

於是，大利拉問參孫：「求你告訴我，你為什麼有這麼大力氣？用什麼辦法才能把你綁起來制伏你？」

大利拉對參孫說：“求你告訴我，你因甚麼緣故有這樣大的力氣，要用甚麼方法才能捆綁你，好把你制伏。”

大利拉對參孫說：『求你告訴我、你的力氣這麼大是在於甚麼，要用甚麼法子才能使你受捆綁而剋制你。』

大利拉謂參孫曰、請爾告我、何由有此大力、何術可以縛而苦爾、

大利拉謂參孫曰、爾之大力何由而得、人欲束縛爾、困苦爾、當用何術。

So Delilah said to Samson,“ Tell me the secret of your great strength and how you can be tied up and subdued.”

So Delilah said to Samson,“ Tell me the secret of why you are so strong. Tell me how you can be tied up and controlled.”

So Delilah said to Samson,“ Please tell me where your great strength lies, and how you might be bound, that one could subdue you.”

So Delilah said to Samson,“ Please tell me what makes you so strong and what it would take to tie you up securely.”

So Delilah said to Samson,“ Please tell me, where does your great strength come from? How could someone tie you up and make you helpless?”

So Delilah said to Samson,“ Please tell me where your great strength lies, and how you can be bound to humble you.”

So Delilah said to Samson,“ Please tell me where your great strength lies, and with what you may be bound to afflict you.”

And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.

So Delilah said to Samson,“ Please tell me, where does your great strength come from? How could someone tie you up and make you helpless?”

And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength[ lieth], and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.

Delilah said to Samson,“ Please tell me where your great strength lies, and what you might be bound to afflict you.”

People lie to one another; they flatter and deceive.

Do not rely on a friend; do not trust a companion! Don’t even share secrets with the one who lies in your arms!

She persuaded him with persuasive words; with her smooth talk she compelled him.

Faithful men have disappeared from the land; there are no godly men left. They all wait in ambush so they can shed blood; they hunt their own brother with a net.

( 9: 1) I wish I had a lodging place in the desert where I could spend some time like a weary traveler. Then I would desert my people and walk away from them because they are all unfaithful to God, a congregation of people that has been disloyal to him.The LORD says,“ These people are like soldiers who have readied their bows. Their tongues are always ready to shoot out lies. They have become powerful in the land, but they have not done so by honest means. Indeed, they do one evil thing after another and do not pay attention to me.Everyone must be on his guard around his friends. He must not even trust any of his relatives. For every one of them will find some way to cheat him. And all of his friends will tell lies about him.One friend deceives another and no one tells the truth. These people have trained themselves to tell lies. They do wrong and are unable to repent.

A lying tongue hates those crushed by it, and a flattering mouth works ruin.
