While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house,“ Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him.”

They were inside enjoying themselves. But some of the evil men who lived in the city surrounded the house. They pounded on the door. They shouted to the old man who owned the house. They said,“ Bring out the man who came to your house. We want to have sex with him.”

As they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, worthless fellows, surrounded the house, beating on the door. And they said to the old man, the master of the house,“ Bring out the man who came into your house, that we may know him.”

While they were enjoying themselves, a crowd of troublemakers from the town surrounded the house. They began beating at the door and shouting to the old man,“ Bring out the man who is staying with you so we can have sex with him.”

While they were enjoying themselves, all of a sudden, wicked men of the city surrounded the house and beat on the door. They said to the old man who was the owner of the house,“ Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him!”

While they were celebrating, behold, the men of the city, certain worthless men, surrounded the house, pushing one another at the door; and they spoke to the owner of the house, the old man, saying,“ Bring out the man who entered your house that we may have relations with him.”

As they were enjoying themselves, suddenly certain men of the city, perverted men, surrounded the house and beat on the door. They spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying,“ Bring out the man who came to your house, that we may know him carnally!”

While they were enjoying themselves, all of a sudden, perverted men of the city surrounded the house and beat on the door. They said to the old man who was the owner of the house,“ Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him!”

[ Now] as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about,[ and] beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

They were having a good time, when suddenly some men of the city, some good-for-nothings, surrounded the house and kept beating on the door. They said to the old man who owned the house,“ Send out the man who came to visit you so we can have sex with him.”

As they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain wicked fellows, surrounded the house, beating at the door; and they spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying,“ Bring out the man who came into your house, that we can have sex with him!”

And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about me by night; me they thought to have slain, and my concubine they forced, and she is dead.

But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both young and old, all the people from every quarter;and they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men that came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

Certain base fellows are gone out from the midst of thee, and have drawn away the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;

Now the sons of Eli were base men; they knew not Jehovah.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature:and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due.

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever?

And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison- house; and he made sport before them. And they set him between the pillars:

Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.

They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.

O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood; the battle against the children of iniquity doth not overtake them in Gibeah.

So they sat down, and did eat and drink, both of them together: and the damsel’s father said unto the man, Be pleased, I pray thee, to tarry all night, and let thy heart be merry.And the man rose up to depart; but his father- in- law urged him, and he lodged there again.

Count not thy handmaid for a wicked woman; for out of the abundance of my complaint and my provocation have I spoken hitherto.

Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,

But the ungodly shall be all of them as thorns to be thrust away, Because they cannot be taken with the hand;But the man that toucheth them Must be armed with iron and the staff of a spear: And they shall be utterly burned with fire in their place.

Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this worthless fellow, even Nabal; for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thy handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send.

But certain worthless fellows said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no present. But he held his peace.
