Then all Israel from Dan to Beersheba and from the land of Gilead came together as one and assembled before the Lord in Mizpah.

Then all the Israelites came out. They came from the whole land between Dan and Beersheba. They also came from the land of Gilead. All of them gathered together in front of the Lord at Mizpah.

Then all the people of Israel came out, from Dan to Beersheba, including the land of Gilead, and the congregation assembled as one man to the Lord at Mizpah.

Then all the Israelites were united as one man, from Dan in the north to Beersheba in the south, including those from across the Jordan in the land of Gilead. The entire community assembled in the presence of the Lord at Mizpah.

All the Israelites from Dan to Beer-sheba and from the land of Gilead came out, and the community assembled as one body before the LORD at Mizpah.

撒母耳曰、當集以色列眾、悉至米斯巴、我將為爾祈主、遂集於米斯巴、汲水奠於主前、是日禁食在彼、曰、我獲罪於主、於是撒母耳在米斯巴為以色列人聽訟、

遂定命普告以色列、自別是巴至但、使至耶路撒冷、於主以色列之天主前守逾越節、蓋至此民循所錄之例、守逾越節者不甚多也、或作因民久未遵所綠之例守逾越節

約瑟長子乃瑪拿西、瑪拿西支派以鬮得地、瑪拿西長子瑪吉、為基列之父、素為戰士、得基列與巴珊、

立之為王、以轄基列、亞書利、耶斯烈、以法蓮、便雅憫、及以色列人眾、

以色列眾民上伯特利、坐於主前號哭、是日禁食至晚、獻火焚祭與平安祭於主前、

於是使猶大人悉懷一心、遣使見王曰、請王與臣僕偕歸、

循其祖以色列所生但之名、名邑曰但、此邑昔名拉億、

七月將至、以色列人已居故邑、民乃同心如一人、集於耶路撒冷、

以色列人遂起上伯特利、問於天主曰、我儕中誰當先往攻便雅憫人、主曰、猶大人當先往、

於是以色列民眾、同心合志如一人、集於基比亞邑前、

諸軍長及所率之士卒、聞巴比倫王使基大利為方伯、於是尼他尼子以實瑪利、加利子約哈難、尼陀法人單戶篾子西賴亞、瑪迦人之子亞沙尼、及所率之士卒、至米斯巴見基大利、

民眾悉起如一人、曰、我皆不返幕、不歸家、

民之族長、率以色列諸支派、至天主民之會、持兵刃之步軍、共四十萬人、

流便人與迦得人群畜眾多、見雅塞地與基列地、堪為牧畜之地、

以雙牛剖之付使者、攜至以色列四境、曰、不出而隨掃羅與撒母耳者、亦必如此剖其牛、主使民畏懼、俱懷一心而出、掃羅在比色核其數、得以色列人三十萬、猶大人三萬、

主爾之天主所賜爾居之諸邑、爾若聞一邑中有匪類出、誘其邑之民曰、我儕莫若往事異邦之神、即爾素所未識之神、
