Now turn those wicked men of Gibeah over to us so that we may put them to death and purge the evil from Israel.” But the Benjamites would not listen to their fellow Israelites.

Hand over to us those evil men of Gibeah. We’ll put them to death. In that way we’ll get rid of those evil people.” But the people of Benjamin wouldn’t listen to the other Israelites.

Now therefore give up the men, the worthless fellows in Gibeah, that we may put them to death and purge evil from Israel.” But the Benjaminites would not listen to the voice of their brothers, the people of Israel.

Give up those evil men, those troublemakers from Gibeah, so we can execute them and purge Israel of this evil.” But the people of Benjamin would not listen.

Now, hand over the good-for-nothings in Gibeah so we can execute them and purge Israel of wickedness.” But the Benjaminites refused to listen to their Israelite brothers.

话不是这么说的，只是因为有一个以法莲山区的人，就是比基利的儿子名叫示巴，他举手攻击大卫王；你们只要把他一人交出来，我就离城而去。”妇人对约押说：“看哪，他的首级必从城墙上丢给你。”妇人凭她的智慧去劝众百姓，他们就割下比基利的儿子示巴的首级，丢给约押。约押吹角，众人就离城散开，各回自己的帐棚去了。约押回耶路撒冷，到王那里。

有些无赖的歹徒聚集跟从他，逞强攻击所罗门的儿子罗波安；那时罗波安还年轻，心志软弱，不能抵挡他们。

他们深深败坏，如在基比亚的日子一样。耶和华必记起他们的罪孽，惩罚他们的罪恶。

有两个无赖来，坐在拿伯对面。无赖当着百姓作证告他说：“拿伯诅咒上帝和王了！”众人就把他拉到城外，用石头打他，他就死了。

证人要先动手，然后众百姓也动手把他处死。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。

然后，城里的众人就要用石头将他打死。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉，全以色列听见了都要害怕。”

人若得罪人，有上帝可以裁决；人若得罪耶和华，谁能为他代求呢？”然而他们还是不听父亲的话，因为耶和华想要他们死。

人屡次受责罚，仍然硬着颈项，他必顷刻被毁，无从医治。

所以，当从心中除掉愁烦，从肉体除去痛苦；因为年少和年轻之时，全是虚空。

以色列啊，你从基比亚的日子以来就时常犯罪，他们仍停留在那里。攻击罪孽之辈的战事岂不会临到基比亚吗？

跟随大卫去的人中，每一个恶人和无赖都说：“这些人既然没有和我同去，我们所夺的财物就不分给他们，只把他们各人的妻子儿女给他们，让他们带回去就好了。”

先知与王说话的时候，王对他说：“难道我们立你作王的谋士吗？你住口吧！为何要挨打呢？”先知就止住了，却说：“我知道上帝已定意要消灭你，因为你行这事，不听从我的劝戒。”

他们虽知道上帝判定做这样事的人是该死的，然而他们不但自己去做，还赞同别人去做。

那先知或那做梦的人要被处死，因为他出言悖逆那领你们出埃及地、救赎你脱离为奴之家的耶和华—你们的上帝，要引诱你离开耶和华—你上帝吩咐你要行的道。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。

你们就要把这二人带到那城的城门口，用石头打死他们。处死女子是因为她虽然在城里，却没有喊叫；处死男子是因为他玷污了邻舍的妻子。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。

你们就要对付他如同他想要对付的弟兄一样。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。

在那里恰巧有一个无赖，名叫示巴，是便雅悯人比基利的儿子。他吹角，说：“我们与大卫无份，与耶西的儿子无关。以色列啊，各回自己的帐棚去吧！”

我又听见另一个声音从天上说：“我的民哪，从那城出来吧！免得和她在罪上有份，受她所受的灾殃；因她的罪恶滔天，上帝已经记得她的不义。

亚玛谢却不肯听从。这是出乎上帝，好将他们交在敌人手里，因为他们寻求以东的神明。

他们就要把这女子带到她父家的门口，城里的人要用石头打死她，因为她在父家犯了淫乱，在以色列中做了可耻的事。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。

“若发现有人绑架以色列人中的一个弟兄，把他当奴隶对待，或把他卖了，那绑架人的就必处死。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。
