以色列人起、往伯特利、諮諏上帝曰、與便雅憫人戰、我中誰當先往、耶和華曰、猶大先往、

俱至伯特利、問於上帝、曰、我中誰可先攻便雅憫族。耶和華曰、猶大可先往。

以色列人遂起上伯特利、問於天主曰、我儕中誰當先往攻便雅憫人、主曰、猶大人當先往、

The Israelites went up to Bethel and inquired of God. They said,“ Who of us is to go up first to fight against the Benjamites?” The Lord replied,“ Judah shall go first.”

The Israelites went up to Bethel. There they asked God,“ Who should go up first and fight against the people of Benjamin?” The Lord answered,“ The tribe of Judah will go first.”

The people of Israel arose and went up to Bethel and inquired of God,“ Who shall go up first for us to fight against the people of Benjamin?” And the Lord said,“ Judah shall go up first.”

Before the battle the Israelites went to Bethel and asked God,“ Which tribe should go first to attack the people of Benjamin?” The Lord answered,“ Judah is to go first.”

They set out, went to Bethel, and inquired of God. The Israelites asked,“ Who is to go first to fight for us against the Benjaminites?” And the LORD answered,“ Judah will be first.”

Now the sons of Israel set out, went up to Bethel, and inquired of God and said,“ Who shall go up first for us to battle against the sons of Benjamin?” Then the Lord said,“ Judah shall go up first.”

Then the children of Israel arose and went up to the house of God to inquire of God. They said,“ Which of us shall go up first to battle against the children of Benjamin?” The Lord said,“ Judah first!”

And the children of Israel arose, and went up to Beth- el, and asked counsel of God; and they said, Who shall go up for us first to battle against the children of Benjamin? And Jehovah said, Judah shall go up first.

They set out, went to Bethel, and inquired of God. The Israelites asked,“ Who is to go first to fight for us against the Benjaminites?” And the Lord answered,“ Judah will be first.”

And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah[ shall go up] first.

The Israelites went up to Bethel and asked God,“ Who should lead the charge against the Benjaminites?” The LORD said,“ Judah should lead.”

The children of Israel arose, went up to Bethel, and asked counsel of God. They asked,“ Who shall go up for us first to battle against the children of Benjamin?” Yahweh said,“ Judah first.”

他要站在以利亞撒祭司面前；以利亞撒要憑烏陵的判斷，在耶和華面前為他求問。他和以色列全會眾都要照以利亞撒的指示出入。」

因以色列人上去，在耶和華面前哀哭，直到晚上。他們求問耶和華說：「我可以再出兵與我弟兄便雅憫人打仗嗎？」耶和華說：「可以上去攻打他們。」

以色列眾人和全體士兵上到伯特利，坐在耶和華面前哭泣。那日，他們禁食直到晚上，又在耶和華面前獻燔祭和平安祭。以色列人去求問耶和華；那時，神的約櫃在那裏。

猶大啊，你的兄弟必讚美你，你的手必掐住仇敵的頸項，你父親的兒子要向你下拜。猶大是隻小獅子；我兒啊，你捕獲了獵物就上去。他蹲伏，他躺臥，如公獅，又如母獅，誰敢惹他呢？權杖必不離猶大，統治者的杖必不離他兩腳之間，直等細羅來到，萬民都要歸順他。

以色列全會眾都聚集在示羅，把會幕設立在那裏。那地已經被他們征服了。

於是，摩西將她們的案件呈到耶和華面前。

看哪，你們大家，以色列人哪，在此提出你們的建議和對策吧！」

以色列人收下他們的一些食物，但是沒有求問耶和華的指示。

神的家在示羅多少日子，但人為自己設立米迦所雕刻的像也在但多少日子。

約書亞死後，以色列人求問耶和華說：「我們中間誰當首先上去攻打迦南人，與他們爭戰呢？」耶和華說：「猶大要先上去。看哪，我已將那地交在他手中。」

他對他說：「我們從猶大的伯利恆過來，要到以法蓮山區的邊界去。我是那裏的人，去了猶大的伯利恆，現在要到耶和華的家去，卻沒有人接待我到他的家。

你們要使禁食的日子分別為聖，宣告嚴肅會，召集長老和這地所有的居民來到耶和華－你們神的殿，向耶和華哀求。
