It was so, that all who saw it said,“ Such a deed has not been done or seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt to this day! Consider it, take counsel, and speak.”

The men sampled their provisions, and didn’t ask counsel from Yahweh’s mouth.

yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world.But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. for by wise guidance you wage your war; and victory is in many advisors.

You are the children of Yahweh your God. You shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God, and Yahweh has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.

Plans are established by advice; by wise guidance you wage war!
