以色列人就彼此對問說：『以色列族派中哪一個人沒有上米斯巴到永恆主面前呢？』就查出基列雅比沒有一個人進營到大眾中；

又彼此问说：“以色列支派中谁没有上米斯巴到耶和华面前来呢？”他们就查出基列雅比没有一人进营到会众那里；

他们又说：“以色列支派中谁没有上米斯巴到耶和华那里呢？”看哪，基列的雅比没有一人进营到会众那里，

他们又说：“以色列支派中谁没有上米斯巴到耶和华那里呢？”看哪，基列的雅比没有一人进营到会众那里，

他们又查问各支派中谁没有到米斯巴聚集在耶和华面前，结果发现基列·雅比人缺席，

他们又彼此问：“以色列各支派中，有谁没有上米斯巴到耶和华面前来的呢？”他们就发现基列．雅比中没有一人去到营中会众那里。

又曰、以色列支派中、孰不至米斯巴、詣耶和華前乎。核數其民、乃知基列之雅疋、不至營壘、入於會中。

又問曰、以色列支派中、誰不上米斯巴至主前乎、察之、乃知基列之雅比無一人詣營、入於會中、

Then they asked,“ Which one of the tribes of Israel failed to assemble before the Lord at Mizpah?” They discovered that no one from Jabesh Gilead had come to the camp for the assembly.

Then they asked,“ Has any tribe of Israel failed to come here to Mizpah in front of the Lord?” They discovered that no one from Jabesh Gilead had come. No one from there had gathered together with the others in the camp.

And they said,“ What one is there of the tribes of Israel that did not come up to the Lord to Mizpah?” And behold, no one had come to the camp from Jabesh-gilead, to the assembly.

So they asked,“ Who among the tribes of Israel did not join us at Mizpah when we assembled in the presence of the Lord?” And they discovered that no one from Jabesh gilead had attended the assembly.

They asked,“ Which city among the tribes of Israel didn’t come to the LORD at Mizpah?” It turned out that no one from Jabesh-gilead had come to the camp and the assembly.

And they said,“ What one is there of the tribes of Israel that did not go up to the Lord at Mizpah?” And behold, no one had come to the camp from Jabesh gilead to the assembly.

And they said,“ What one is there from the tribes of Israel who did not come up to Mizpah to the Lord?” And, in fact, no one had come to the camp from Jabesh Gilead to the assembly.

And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up unto Jehovah to Mizpah? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabesh- gilead to the assembly.

They asked,“ Which city among the tribes of Israel didn’t come to the Lord at Mizpah?” It turned out that no one from Jabesh-gilead had come to the camp and the assembly.

And they said, What one[ is there] of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabeshgilead to the assembly.

So they asked,“ Who from all the Israelite tribes did not assemble before the LORD at Mizpah?” Now it just so happened no one from Jabesh Gilead had come to the gathering.

They said,“ What one is there of the tribes of Israel who didn’t come up to Yahweh to Mizpah?” Behold, no one came from Jabesh Gilead to the camp to the assembly.

基列雅比的居民聽見掃羅的事、知道非利士人向掃羅所行的，他們中間所有的壯丁就起身，走了一夜，將掃羅的屍身和他兒子的屍身從伯珊城牆上取下來，送到雅比，在那裏焚燒。又將他們的骸骨埋葬在雅比的垂絲柳樹下；並且禁食七天。

大約過了一個月，亞捫人拿轄上來，紮營圍困基列雅比；雅比人對拿轄說：『你和我們立約，我們就服事你。』亞捫人拿轄對他們說：『只有這條件：你們各人的右眼剜出來，讓我羞辱以色列眾人：我就和你們立約。』雅比的長老對他說：『請寬限我們七天，我們好打發人往以色列全境；若沒有人拯救我們，我們就出來歸順你。』

大衛就打發使者去見基列雅比人，對他們說：『你們對你們的主上掃羅表示這樣的忠愛、將他埋葬：願你們蒙永恆主賜福。如今你們既行了這事，願永恆主以堅愛忠信待你們；我也必好待你們。
