西西拉就召集他所有的车辆，就是九百辆铁车，和与他在一起的众人，都从夏罗设歌印出来，到基顺河那里。

夏琐王耶宾一听见这些事，就派人去见玛顿王约巴、伸仑王、押煞王，

巴拉追赶西西拉的车辆和军队，直到夏罗设歌印；西西拉的全军都倒在刀下，连一个也没有留下。

求你待他们好像待米甸人，像在基顺河待西西拉和耶宾一样；

他们却忘记了耶和华他们的神，神就把他们交在夏琐的将军西西拉的手中，以及非利士人和摩押王的手中，于是这些人常常攻打他们。

耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，就把他们交在非利士人的手中和亚扪人的手中。

那时，约书亚转回来，占领了夏琐，用刀击杀了夏琐王，因为夏琐在这些国中素来是为首的。以色列人用刀击杀了城中所有的人，把他们完全毁灭；有气息的一个也没有留下；约书亚又放火烧了夏琐。

他没有钱偿还，主人就下令叫人把他和他的妻子儿女，以及一切所有的都卖掉，用来偿还。

耶和华这样说：“我离弃了你们的母亲，休书在哪里呢？或者我的债主中，哪一个是我把你们卖了给他的呢？看哪！你们被卖是因你们的罪孽；你们的母亲被离弃是因你们的过犯。

耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，就把他们交在抢掠的人手中，他们就抢掠他们；他又把他们完全交在他们四围的仇敌手中，以致他们在仇敌面前再不能站立得住。他们无论去哪里，耶和华的手总是加害他们，好像耶和华说过的，又像耶和华对他们起誓过的；他们就非常困苦。

亚大玛、拉玛、夏琐、
