聽眾所言、後即遇敵、可強乃志。其田與其僕部喇遂下、至營之極處、近於行伍。

我靠着那加给我力量的，凡事都能做。

基甸到了那里，看哪，有一人把梦告诉同伴说：“看哪，我做了一个梦。看哪，一个大麦饼滚入米甸营中，来到帐幕，把帐幕撞倒，帐幕就翻转倒塌了。”同伴回答说：“这不是别的，而是以色列人约阿施的儿子基甸的刀。上帝已把米甸和全军都交在他手中了。”基甸听见这梦的叙述和梦的解释，就敬拜上帝。他回到以色列营中，说：“起来吧！耶和华已把米甸军队交在你们手中了。”

你们要使软弱的手强壮，使无力的膝盖稳固；对心里焦急的人说：“要刚强，不要惧怕。看哪，你们的上帝要来施报，要施行极大的报应，他必来拯救你们。”

他们欢欢喜喜地守除酵节七日，因为耶和华使他们欢喜。耶和华又使亚述王的心转向他们，坚固他们的手，去做上帝—以色列上帝殿的工。

他对我说：“我的恩典是够你用的，因为我的能力是在人的软弱上显得完全。”所以，我更喜欢夸耀自己的软弱，好使基督的能力覆庇我。为基督的缘故，我以软弱、凌辱、艰难、迫害、困苦为可喜乐的事；因为我什么时候软弱，什么时候就刚强了。

约拿单说：“看哪，我们要过去到那些人那里，在他们那里展现我们自己。他们若对我们这么说：‘站住，等我们到你们那里去’，我们就站在原地，不上他们那里去；但他们若这么说：‘上到我们这里来吧’，我们就上去，因为耶和华把他们交在我们手里了。这就是我们的凭据。”

扫罗的儿子约拿单起身，到树林里去见大卫，使他的手倚靠上帝得以坚固，

站岗的士兵对约拿单和拿兵器的人说：“上到这里来，我们有一件事要告诉你们。”约拿单就对拿兵器的人说：“跟我上去，因为耶和华把他们交在以色列人手里了。”

我向哪一个少女说：‘请你放下水瓶来，给我水喝’，她若说：‘请喝！我也给你的骆驼喝’，愿她作你所选定给你仆人以撒的妻。这样，我就知道你施恩给我的主人了。”

上帝领百姓绕道而行，走旷野的路到红海。以色列人出埃及地，都带着兵器上去。

最后，你们要靠着主，依赖他的大能大力作刚强的人。

为要他按着他丰盛的荣耀，藉着他的灵，使你们内心的力量刚强起来；

他们全都要使我们惧怕，说：“他们的手必软弱，不能工作，以致不能完工。”现在，求你坚固我的手。
