因为主耶和华以色列的圣者这样说：“你们得救在于悔改和安息，你们得力在于平静和信靠。”但你们竟不愿意。

恐怖之声常在他的耳中，太平的时候，强盗就来袭击他。他不信他能从黑暗中转回，自己留给刀剑杀害。

摩西对人民说：“不要惧怕，要站着，观看耶和华今天为你们施行的拯救；因为你们今天看见的埃及人，必永远不再看见了。耶和华必为你们争战，你们必须安静，不要作声。”
