祸哉！你这未遭毁灭而毁灭人的人，人未以诡诈待你而你以诡诈待人的人！等你行完了毁灭，自己必被毁灭；你行完了诡诈，人必以诡诈待你。

耶和华使歪曲的灵渗入埃及中间，让他们使埃及一切所做的都出差错，好像醉酒之人呕吐时东倒西歪一样。

我要激起埃及人攻击埃及人，弟兄攻击弟兄，邻舍攻击邻舍，这城攻击那城，这国攻击那国。

耶和华问他：‘用什么方法呢？’他说：‘我要出去，在他众先知的口中成为谎言的灵。’耶和华说：‘这样，你去引诱他，必能成功。你出去，照样做吧！’现在，看哪，耶和华使谎言的灵入了你所有的这些先知的口，并且耶和华已经宣告要降祸于你。”

耶和华的灵离开扫罗，有邪灵从耶和华那里来扰乱他。扫罗的臣仆对他说：“看哪，有邪灵从上帝那里来扰乱你。我们的主可以吩咐你面前的臣仆，去找一个善于弹琴的来。上帝那里来的邪灵临到你身上的时候，他用手弹琴，你就会感觉爽快。”

因为你们怎样评断别人，也必怎样被审判；你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们。

王不依从百姓，因这事件是出于上帝，为要应验耶和华藉示罗人亚希雅对尼八的儿子耶罗波安所说的话。

荆棘对众树说：‘你们若真的要膏我作王治理你们，就要来到我的荫下寻求庇护；不然，愿火从荆棘里出来，吞灭黎巴嫩的香柏树。’“现在你们若以诚实正直立亚比米勒为王，若善待耶路巴力和他的家，若照他手所做的回报他—

故此，上帝就给他们一个引发错误的心，叫他们信从虚谎，使一切不信真理、倒喜爱不义的人都被定罪。

从这日起，扫罗就敌视大卫。次日，从上帝来的邪灵紧抓住扫罗，他就在家中胡言乱语。大卫照常弹琴，扫罗手里拿着枪。

不然，愿火从亚比米勒发出，吞灭示剑居民和伯‧米罗，又愿火从示剑居民和伯‧米罗发出，吞灭亚比米勒。”
