My tent is destroyed; all its ropes are snapped. My children are gone from me and are no more; no one is left now to pitch my tent or to set up my shelter.

Jerusalem is like a tent that has been destroyed. All its ropes have snapped. My people have gone away from me. Now no one is left to set up my tent. I have no one to set up my shelter.

My tent is destroyed, and all my cords are broken; my children have gone from me, and they are not; there is no one to spread my tent again and to set up my curtains.

My home is gone, and no one is left to help me rebuild it. My children have been taken away, and I will never see them again.

毀壞的信息不斷傳來，因為全地荒廢。我的帳棚忽然毀壞，我的幔子頃刻破裂。

耶和華如此說：「在拉瑪聽見號咷痛哭的聲音，是拉結哭她兒女，不肯因她兒女受安慰，因為他們都不在了。」

要擴張你帳幕之地，伸展你居所的幔子，不要縮回；要放長你的繩子，堅固你的橛子。

觀看我的人，他的眼必不看見我；你的眼目投向我，我卻不在了。

她的敵人作主，她的仇敵亨通；耶和華因她過犯多而使她受苦，她的孩童在敵人面前去作俘虜。

惡人傾覆，歸於無有；義人的家卻屹立不倒。

我已將我的話放在你口中，用我的手影遮蔽你，為要安定諸天，立定地基，並對錫安說：「你是我的百姓。」

他張弓好像仇敵，他站立舉起右手，如同敵人殺戮我們眼目所喜愛的。他在錫安的帳棚傾倒憤怒，如火一般。主如仇敵吞滅以色列，吞滅它一切的宮殿，毀壞境內的堡壘；在猶大加添悲傷和哭號。他摧毀自己的帳幕如摧毀園子，毀壞自己的會幕。耶和華使節慶和安息日在錫安盡被遺忘，又在極其憤怒中厭棄君王與祭司。

你要再聽見喪失子女後所生的兒女說：「這地方我居住太窄，請你給我地方居住。」那時你心裏必說：「我既喪子不育，被擄，飄流在外，誰給我生了這些？誰將他們養大呢？看哪，我被撇下獨自一人時，他們都在哪裏呢？」主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必向列國舉手，向萬民豎立大旗；他們必將你的兒子抱在懷中帶來，將你的女兒背在肩上扛來。
