Therefore this is what the Lord says:‘ I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them.

So I say,‘ I will bring trouble on them. They will not be able to escape it. They will cry out to me. But I will not listen to them.

Therefore, thus says the Lord, Behold, I am bringing disaster upon them that they cannot escape. Though they cry to me, I will not listen to them.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I am going to bring calamity upon them, and they will not escape. Though they beg for mercy, I will not listen to their cries.

“ Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I am about to bring on them disaster that they cannot escape. They will cry out to me, but I will not hear them.

Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ Behold, I am bringing disaster on them which they will not be able to escape; though they will cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.

Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.” (niv)

When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! (niv)

“ Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me, (niv)

Terror and pit and snare await you, people of the earth. (niv)

and say,‘ Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah and people of Jerusalem. This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Listen! I am going to bring a disaster on this place that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle. (niv)

“ Therefore their path will become slippery; they will be banished to darkness and there they will fall. I will bring disaster on them in the year they are punished,” declares the Lord. (niv)

Away from me, all you evildoers!’“ There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. I will punish him and his children and his attendants for their wickedness; I will bring on them and those living in Jerusalem and the people of Judah every disaster I pronounced against them, because they have not listened.’” (niv)

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ Disaster! Unheard- of disaster! See, it comes! (niv)

I saw the Lord standing by the altar, and he said:“ Strike the tops of the pillars so that the thresholds shake. Bring them down on the heads of all the people; those who are left I will kill with the sword. Not one will get away, none will escape.Though they dig down to the depths below, from there my hand will take them. Though they climb up to the heavens above, from there I will bring them down.Though they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, there I will hunt them down and seize them. Though they hide from my eyes at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent to bite them.Though they are driven into exile by their enemies, there I will command the sword to slay them.“ I will keep my eye on them for harm and not for good.” (niv)

“ Do not pray for this people or offer any plea or petition for them, because I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their distress. (niv)
