Give glory to the Lord your God before he brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but he will turn it to utter darkness and change it to deep gloom.

Give glory to the Lord your God. Honor him before he sends darkness to cover the land. Do this before you trip and fall on the darkened hills. You hope that light will come. But he will turn it into thick darkness. He will change it to deep shadows.

那日，他们要向以色列人吼叫，像海浪砰訇；人若望地，只见黑暗艰难，光明在云中变为昏暗。

你在野狗之处压伤我们，用死荫遮蔽我们。

所以当制造你们痔疮的像和毁坏你们田地老鼠的像，并要归荣耀给以色列的神，或者他向你们和你们的神，并你们的田地，把手放轻些。

主耶和华说：“到那日，我必使日头在午间落下，使地在白昼黑暗。我必使你们的节期变为悲哀，歌曲变为哀歌。众人腰束麻布，头上光秃，使这场悲哀如丧独生子，至终如痛苦的日子一样。”

民中的万族啊，你们要将荣耀、能力归给耶和华，都归给耶和华！要将耶和华的名所当得的荣耀归给他，拿供物来进入他的院宇。

因此，他们的道路必像黑暗中的滑地，他们必被追赶，在这路中仆倒；因为当追讨之年，我必使灾祸临到他们。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华对摩西说：“你向天伸杖，使埃及地黑暗；这黑暗似乎摸得着。”

你趁着年幼、衰败的日子尚未来到，就是你所说，我毫无喜乐的那些年日未曾临近之先，当记念造你的主。不要等到日头、光明、月亮、星宿变为黑暗，雨后云彩返回，

先知说：“我观看地，不料，地是空虚混沌；我观看天，天也无光。

我们指望平安，却得不着好处；指望痊愈的时候，不料，受了惊惶。

又说：“作了绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石。”他们既不顺从，就在道理上绊跌；他们这样绊跌也是预定的。

我们仰望人来帮助，以致眼目失明，还是枉然；我们所盼望的，竟盼望一个不能救人的国！

人活多年，就当快乐多年；然而也当想到黑暗的日子。因为这日子必多，所要来的都是虚空。

耶稣对他们说：“光在你们中间还有不多的时候，应当趁着有光行走，免得黑暗临到你们；那在黑暗里行走的，不知道往何处去。

你全然弃掉犹大吗？你心厌恶锡安吗？为何击打我们，以致无法医治呢？我们指望平安，却得不着好处；指望痊愈，不料，受了惊惶。
