Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.

So the Lord says to Jeremiah,“ If you turn away from your sins, I will heal you. And then you will be able to serve me. Speak words that are worthy, not worthless. Then you will be speaking for me. Let these people turn to you. But you must not turn to them.

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.

This is how the Lord responds:“ If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak good words rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. You must influence them; do not let them influence you!

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: If you return, I will take you back; you will stand in my presence. And if you speak noble words, rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. It is they who must return to you; you must not return to them.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says:“ If you return, then I will restore you— You will stand before Me; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They, for their part, may turn to you, But as for you, you are not to turn to them.

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ If you return, Then I will bring you back; You shall stand before Me; If you take out the precious from the vile, You shall be as My mouth. Let them return to you, But you must not return to them.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, that thou mayest stand before me; and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: they shall return unto thee, but thou shalt not return unto them.

Because of this, the LORD said,“ You must repent of such words and thoughts! If you do, I will restore you to the privilege of serving me. If you say what is worthwhile instead of what is worthless, I will again allow you to be my spokesman. They must become as you have been. You must not become like them.

Therefore Yahweh says,“ If you return, then I will bring you again, that you may stand before me; and if you take out the precious from the vile, you will be as my mouth. They will return to you, but you will not return to them.

萬軍之耶和華如此說：「你若遵行我的道，謹守我的命令，就可以管理我的家，看守我的院宇；我也要使你在這些侍立的人中間來往。

他們要教導我的子民分辨聖與俗，使他們知道潔淨和不潔淨的分別。

其中的祭司曲解我的律法，褻瀆我的聖物，不分別聖與俗，也不使人分辨潔淨和不潔淨，又遮眼不顧我的安息日；在他們中間連我也被褻慢了。

你們必須分辨聖的俗的，潔淨的和不潔淨的，

惟獨長大成人的才能吃乾糧，他們的心竅因練習而靈活，能分辨善惡了。

願那能保守你們不失腳，使你們無瑕無疵、歡歡喜喜站在他榮耀之前的、

因為我必賜你們口才和智慧，是你們一切敵人所敵不住、駁不倒的。

因為上帝一切的旨意，我並沒有退縮不傳給你們的。

耶穌又對門徒說：「聽從你們的就是聽從我；棄絕你們的就是棄絕我；棄絕我的就是棄絕差遣我來的那位。」

我現在是要得人的心，還是要得上帝的心呢？難道我在討人的喜歡嗎？我若仍舊想討人的喜歡，我就不是基督的僕人了。

你要跟他說話，把話放在他的口裏，我要賜你口才，也要賜他口才，又要教你們做當做的事。他要替你向百姓說話；他要當你的口，你要當他的上帝。

他們或聽，或不聽，你只管將我的話告訴他們；他們是極其悖逆的。

現在，去吧，我必賜你口才，指教你應當說的。」

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你把他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們出去吧！

耶利米說：「迦勒底人必不把你交出。求你聽從我對你所說耶和華的話，這樣對你有好處，你的命也必存活。你若不肯歸順，耶和華指示我的話是這樣：

因為就在那時候，聖靈要指教你們該說的話。」

我若說：「我不再提耶和華，也不再奉他的名講論」，我心裏便覺得似乎有燒着的火悶在我骨中，我忍受不住，不能自禁。

天使回答他說：「我是站在上帝面前的加百列，奉差遣來對你說話，把這好信息報給你。

你看見辦事殷勤的人嗎？他必侍立在君王面前，不在平庸的人面前。

你們要時時警醒，常常祈求，使你們能逃避這一切要來的事，得以站立在人子面前。」

他又對我說：「人子啊，我對你說的一切話，你心裏要領會，耳朵要聽。要到被擄的人，到你本國百姓那裏去，他們或聽，或不聽，你要對他們宣講，告訴他們這是主耶和華說的。」

住在基列的提斯比人以利亞對亞哈說：「我指着所事奉永生的耶和華－以色列的上帝起誓，這幾年我若不禱告，必不降露水，也不下雨。」

耶和華對摩西說：「我是耶和華；我對你所說的一切話，你都要告訴埃及王法老。」摩西在耶和華面前說：「看哪，我是不會講話的人，法老怎麼會聽我呢？」

可是，為要使福音的真理仍存在你們中間，我們一點也沒有讓步順服他們。

我的母親哪，我有禍了！因你生我作全地爭相指控的人。我素來沒有借貸給人，人也沒有借貸給我，人人卻都咒罵我。耶和華說：「我必定釋放你，使你得福氣。災禍苦難來臨時，我必使仇敵央求你。人豈能將銅與鐵，就是北方的鐵折斷呢？「我必因你在四境之內所犯的一切罪，將你的貨物財寶當掠物，白白地交出來。我要使你的仇敵過去，到你所不認識的地方，因為你們要被我怒中所起的火焚燒。」耶和華啊，你是知道的；求你記念我，眷顧我，向迫害我的人為我報仇；不要把我取去，因你不輕易發怒，要知道我為你的緣故受了凌辱。耶和華－萬軍之上帝啊，我得着你的話就把它們吃了，你的話是我心中的歡喜快樂；因我是稱為你名下的人。我並未坐在享樂人的會中歡樂；因你的手，我就獨自靜坐，你使我滿心憤慨。我的痛苦為何長久不止呢？我的傷痕為何無法可醫，不能痊癒呢？難道你以詭詐待我，像流乾的河道嗎？

所以，從今以後，我們不再按照人的看法來認識人，縱使我們曾經按照人的看法認識基督，如今卻不再這樣認識他了。

「起來，到尼尼微大城去，把我告訴你的信息向其中的居民宣告。」

愚頑人不再稱為君子，流氓不再稱為紳士。因為愚頑人必說愚妄的話，他的心作惡，行褻瀆的事，傳播惡言攻擊耶和華，使飢餓的人仍然飢餓，口渴的人無水可喝。
