“ I will save you from the hands of the wicked and deliver you from the grasp of the cruel.”

I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and redeem you from the grasp of the ruthless.”

Yes, I will certainly keep you safe from these wicked men. I will rescue you from their cruel hands.”

I will deliver you from the power of evil people and redeem you from the control of the ruthless.

“ I will deliver you from the power of the wicked. I will free you from the clutches of violent people.”

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver[ us];

And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Their Redeemer[ is] strong; the LORD of hosts[ is] his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue[ that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This[ is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness[ is] of me, saith the LORD.

Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones[ shall be] as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

When the wicked,[ even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones[ is] as a storm[ against] the wall.Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place;[ even] the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ[ be] with you. Amen.
