有民若此、我豈能不加責罰、以雪我憤。山岡牧原、俱被焚燬、杳無人跡、不聞牲畜之鳴、飛鳥走獸、皆已奔散、我用是殷憂。耶路撒冷城變為瓦礫。野犬藏於其中、猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處、我使之然。

至耶路撒冷及猶大諸邑、與厥王公、使彼喪亡、見之者無不駭愕、怨聲咒詛、今日之事為徵。
